Papa came running, followed by the army of my other protectors.

"What happened!? ... Oh my God, why is she pale? Let me check on her." Papa screamed.

He checked me thoroughly, observing my heavy breathing and immense trembling. He concluded that I was having a panic attack. Yep! My panic disorder comes with me even in this world. I'm missing my Zoloft.

"It must be caused by this shitty event causing her stress." Papa concluded his diagnosis by mean-eyeing Daddy.

"Baby! My sweet child! If you don't want to go down there, it is OK. Those people don't matter more than you. Please, baby! Nobody is going to force you. I'm so sorry. Daddy really didn't know it would affect you adversely. It is OK. Everything is fine." Daddy tried to coax me.

"No, I want to go." I retaliated. I have to go to see what the actual high societies of this world are like. I have only one piece of knowledge: that there is an immense skewed male-female ratio and nothing more. I have to debut and experience this high society, as competition in high society is cutthroat. Plus, I can't let myself make the previous mistakes I made by not going to events, as my parents did not want me to shame them, but maybe I could have made a real friend there.

"I won't be any trouble!" I backed up.

"You are never the trouble." Daddy and Papa joined in.

My eyes started to make me tear up, and within a second I started to cry.

"OK ok, you can go to the party. Just take a nap. It is now 7 p.m. You can come down at 8 or 9 to show up. Change your dress, honey; when you wake up from the nap, Karson and Luke will help you with your appearance and then come to the party. Deal? " Daddy asked.

After a lot of pampering and pleading that I got from my fathers, I agreed and slept and went to my sweet dreamland.
