After my nap and dressing up, I feel much more alive and go downstairs where the party is held. Papa was waiting for me at the door.
Papa: Are you ready, kiddo?
I replied, "Yep!"
And then the big ebony wood door was opened and the bright lights engulfed me. There were sparkling lights everywhere, and all the music and muttering were turned into silence. And again, mumbling roared all across the hall.

"Wow! She is so beautiful, like an angel."

"Bet, when she grows up, she will be a heartcrusher."

"I must try to persuade my boys to befriend her. If she becomes a partner to my boys, it will be a blessing. "

"She even outshines the beauty and serenity of Yenna."

"I never thought Kilmish would give birth to such a beauty. Well, at least she did a good job even after dying."

The audience echoed her praises and tumbled to greet her, offer her well wishes, and, in disguise, plan to make her part of their family by making her their boys' partner. Everybody tried to strike up a conversation with her, but both the fathers of the girl became the barrier.

***********

"Happy Birthday, girl. May all your wishes come true. My son is just your age. Would you like to play with him? He has an amazing collection of toy cars. When you come to our house, you can play with it," suggested Mr. Smith. He owns Markashius Bank, the 7th largest bank nationwide and 59th internationally.

"No need. She enjoys her parents' company. " Papa retaliated.

"It must be difficult for her to adjust without any mother figure in an environment filled with adult males. Look how quiet she is... she must be lonely. Don't worry when you come to our house. You will be able to play with many kids of your age, and I can give you some female company that your dads, unfortunately, cannot give." Mrs. Smith answered.

Before papa could say something to her, the president's family cut into the conversation.

"I see. That the birthday girl is required to socialise with adults now, instead of getting to play with lads who have come to just see you. " A beautiful lady with honey-hued hair and fierce blue eyes commented, eyeing me and continuing to look at my parents, " I thought the kid zone was made for the birthday girl to enjoy with kids of her age, but I see possessive fathers are the hinderence."

"Well, First Lady, I assure you, my daughter loves my possessiveness over her." Papa sited.

"How will the miss know about other lovely games to play with her age group of kids , Doctor Wei?" "Sir Wei, I assure you it is impolite to stop a lady having fun with lads. Come on, free her. She should be able to enjoy her own party. " She chimed, and then turned to her husband, Mr. Jeremy Merchant, the man I once saw, but he really imprinted himself on my mind with his powerful demeanor.

"True, my lady. Arnold, you should let your guard down. I could really sense you, like a dog guarding his bone, from far off in the corner." The President commented with his dad's humor.

"Well, she loves to stick with her papa the most, so rest assured that she is not forcefully glued to me."

"Well, that's your sass speaking. Well, by the way, Wei, did you forget that your princess has yet to cut her birthday cake? I am sure it is very tiring to protect the princess... " The Greek demon chanted out.

"Not at all. I just wanted her to cut the cake at the last moment as a grand ending to the party. Before that, I wanted Aneri to say hello to kids, but I will not force her. " All of a sudden, Daddy chimed into the conversation, out of the blue.

"What is there to force? It is part of their growth that they have to interact with their kind. " The Lady said, while lowering to my level height, "It is a shame for such a beautiful girl to run away from boys." "If she were with me..." she said, with a sinister look on her face.

"No!" I cut her in the middle of her sentence and jumped into my Daddy's arms.

"Oh! You speak, don't be scared. I did not mean to separate you from your parents. " She coaxed me. "Here, open the present. I really prepared it from my heart. Come on, open it. I am so eager to see your reaction."

I looked up at my parents, and they gave me a silent nod. I opened the present for which I was not at all prepared.
