dear sister, you never needed to prove yourself to them.
all we've heard were nothing but their words of comparison.
you are great enough, you are great enough for me.
thank you for being there each time i cry, each time i've felt insecure, each time you've cheered me up. thank you for simply being there.
i'm not good with saying words to you directly, but i do hope that one day you can read this.
i'm also not good with comforting. but, i hope i could always give you hugs whenever you need them.
i know you've been living your life to fulfill their expectations and it hurts, it hurts seeing each time you cry, seeing you being compared to the kids our parents always wished they had.
their words hurt at times and it hurts me seeing you deal with the same thing i've experienced.
i hope i get to witness you achieve the dream you really wanted.
i hope we get there.
