20 - Hero Killer

"Yo! Time to wake up sleepy head!" I sat up in a flash and my forehead banged against Keigo's.

"Goddamnit. What now?"

"We'll you said you wanted to do some actual work. So let's go!" He threw my hero costume at me.

"But im still injured ya know." I swung my legs over the side of the bed and stretched my arms.

"Really? Because I think we both know you're fine and if you weren't you'd still be up anyway."

"You got me." I said sarcastically and stood up.

"Good. It's only a small patrol in the area anyway. There isn't usually anything going on these days around here."

Well, he was right. There was nothing around here. But, there was certainly something going on elsewhere.

"Hey, I just got a message from Todoroki." I shoved Hawks my phone with the message. He only sent his location.

"Huh, I guess that's sorta close." He squinted at the screen. I had to adjust my glasses to see the screen too. I did have contacts in for patrol but we had finished a while ago so I took them out.

I pulled up the full map and he was right in Hosu.

"We need to go!" I yelled and shot up and out of my chair.

"What's going on?" Hawks pulled on his jacket and yellow face cover thing and followed me out of the agency building.

"He's in Hosu. That's where the Hero Killer last hit. Damnit he's probably with Iida. That idiot! I knew something was up!"

"We need to get to Hosu then. You said Iida went with Manuel which means it's probably just the three of them there for now. Come on!" He picked me up by my arms and flew us over to Hosu. I watched over the city for dark alleyways and found them just standing there.

He dropped us done and we confronted them.

"Well, well boys. What's happening here?"

"I can't keep doing this for long." Todoroki said and made another ice wall to block Stain from coming at him. Iida was on the ground, not moving.

"Don't let him get your blood. He can paralyze you with it."

"Alright." Todoroki responded.

"Kid, can you go against knives?" Hawks asked me. I nodded. "Shoto, give him a boost up and over the wall.

Todoroki moved the ice under my feet and housed me up above the existing ice wall. I jumped down on the other side and landed in a squat only to be hit at. I grabbed the long sword he was using and pulled it back to myself.

"Huh, do I know you from somewhere?" He asked. I clenched my fist around the handle of the sword and got ready to fight him.

"No response? You sure are a quiet one." He lunged at me and swung his sword at from from the right. I quickly blocked it and moved in slightly closer. "People usually run away from swords and knives you know." He lunged at me again, this time from the left, I blocked his attack and squared my body across from his.

I tried to look around me but that's farther than my glasses went and it was only blurred when I looked out of the frame.

"Shizukesa! There are more Nomus coming in! Stay alert!" Hawks called to me over the ice wall. I sighed and focused my attention back to Stain.

"I'll be taking that as my cue to leave. It was a pleasure to meet you, Shizukesa." And with that he left. He jumped onto a dumpster and jumped up on top of the building and took off. The ice wall fell and the others came rushing over.

"He left."

"Alright. We need to take care of these Nomus now. There were somewhere over that way." He pointed forward and we all followed him as he flew just slightly above the ground.

"Huh?"

"Are they gone?"

"We got one taken into custody. The rest fled." Endeavor said. "Shoto. We are leaving. I expect you to never run off that that again. Do you understand?"

"Yes, father." Shoto said in response and left with Endeavor.

"We need to get going, Kid. Tenya, where are you headed?"

"I will follow Manuel to the hospital." He said.

"You know where you're going, yeah?"

"Yes, sir." He said quietly and left. He knew he was in deep shit. Him and Todoroki would probably be interrogated down at the station.

"Come on, Izuku. We need to go." Hawks picked me up again and flew me to his agency.

"So, what now?" I asked.

"Now, we need to get cleaned up and deal with paperwork." We went down to the infirmary where the nurse helped us patch up any wounds and such. We then went to his office and started on all of the paperwork.

"This is it, kid. Time to head home." I had my bag packed and my hero costume was in the case.

"Can you give me a ride?" I asked him. We had become a hit mroe close over the rest of the internship. It was pretty boring to say. He did work on helping me move faster and "more light" as he said.

"The hell?! Walk!"

"Buttt Keigo! It's so far!" I whined. He had also let me call him by his first name as long as we weren't around other people.

"Fine." He picked me up by my wrists and let me dangle as he flew across the town. He dropped me off about a block from the base so he wouldn't be spotted. "You owe me." He pointed at me then took off to the sky again.

I walked into the bar and tossed my stuff down on the couch.

"Ugh. That was so fucking exhausting." I whined when I sat down on the couch.

Time to head back to school...

Father hadn't been in his office so I had to visit him in the morning today. I handed him the notebook which Keigo helped me create. He nodded and handed the notebook back to me. I quickly left the room, trying to calm myself.

Even though he seemed okay with what I brought it still worried me.

I made my way down the hall to 1-A and I could already feel the stupidity from the hall.

Back to school for me on Tuesday which means after school marching band rehearsal, morning and afternoon swim practice and weight lifting.
