Today was a big day. The day of judgement, presumably the day of justice. Haseena and her family were sitting in their respective places. Anubhav was on his chair along with his assistant, Shivani. He looked at Haseena who was lost in some thoughts. She felt him gazing at her. She looked at him and he passed a smile of assurance, it seemed like he was saying, 'Don't worry, Everything will be alright.' She answered him with a small lip-tied smile.
In a few minutes, Saajid, the college's trustee and the dean entered inside. Following them, Indar took inside by some police officers. Saajid and Indar's faces had smirks. They were confident as they believed the police would state in their favour. He eyed Haseena. She too looked at him with the eyes of fire. Though her eyes were a bit teary, she looked like an angry goddess. Cheetah and Karan were finding it difficult to control their rage.
At the next moment, the judge came there. Everyone stood up and sat after he sat on his chair. Indar was standing in the witness box. The judge said in a serious tone,
JUDGE: Jaisa ki sabko pata hain, yeh mukaddame ki sunwaai bahut pehle hi honi thi. Par advocate Anubhav Singh ke accident ke wajah se yeh case delay ho gaya. Aur aaj iski dusri sunwayi hain. Defence lawyer mukaddame ki shuruaat kar sakte hain.
Saajid Malik stood up from his chair and said,
SM: Thank you, your honour. Your honour, jaisa ki aap sab log jaante hain ki mere begunah client par jo jhutha ilzaam lagaya gaya hain aur...
Anubhav quickly got up from his chair and said while cutting him in middle,
AS: Hume inki baat par apatti hain, prabhu. Indar Kumar par laga hua aarop jhutha hain ya sachcha, yeh abhi siddha hona baki hain. Iss liye humare mitra abhi se apne muvakkil (client) ko nirdosh nahi keh sakte. Indar Kumar abhi bhi aaropi hain.
SM: You are right, Anubhav Sahab. Aapki baat mein dum hain. Abhi mere client mulzim hain magar mujrim nahi. Aur humare paas kuch aise saboot hain jiske binah par mere client begunah sabit ho hi jaayenge.
JUDGE: Agar defence lawyer ke paas gawah hain toh unhe jald jald se court mein pesh kare. Pehle hi adalat ka bahut waqt barbad ho chuka hain.
SM: Yes, your honour. Mere pehle gawah hain, iss case ko investigate kar rahe officer, Inspector Shinde. Main unhe katghare mein bulane ki ijaazat chahunga.
JUDGE: Permission granted.
Inspecter Shinde came inside the witness box. Saajid asked him,
SM: Inspector Shinde, aapne jo investigation ki hain iss case mein, Haseena Malik ke kaale karnaamo ki jo padtal ki hain ki kaise Haseena Malik ne mere client ko phasane ki koshish ki hain, yeh iss adalat ko batayiye. Aur yeh bhi batayiye ki mere client ek dum sharif insaan hain. Unhone aisa ghinona kaam nahi kiya, jiske baare mein aapne apne investigation mein pata lagaya hain.
The inspector looked at him for a second and then AnuSeena. He turned to the judge and said,
INSPECTOR: Your honour, pichhle tarikh mein aapne humari team ko order diya tha ki ek mahine mein iss case ki poori investigation honi chahiye.
