𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓐𝓯𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓱𝓸𝔀 [𝓡𝓾𝓲𝓴𝓪𝓼𝓪 ]

A Confession

School already began, Tsukasa already went to his classes after he dropped Saki off at her School

It was a short School day for Tsukasa since some of the teacher were sick and couldn't get a substitute Teacher for that lesson
And since Rui also had a short day, he waited at the gate for Tsukasa.

As soon as Tsukasa went out of the School's building he saw Rui waiting at the gate and walked up to him with a smiley face.

"Hey Rui..! So um..so are we still up to, to go to the Park...right?" He asked him, while looking up to him.

"Ah! Well yes of course!...unless you have to do something or don't want to-"

"No no!!! I do not have anything to to and I sure do I do want to!" Tsukasa answered unhesitating

Rui was suprised, but just nodded with a smile

"Alright! Then let's go I suppose!"

He chuckled and... took Tsukasas hand as he walked there. Tsukasa turned bright red as he took his hand and held it while walking there.

As soon as they arrived Rui put out a blanket near the lake and sat down on it, after placing down his bag.
He patted onto the blanket next to him, signaling Tsukasa to sit down as well!
Hesistant Tsukasa placed his bag also down, and sat down right next to him.

"Well.... you wanted to talk to me.. you told me yesterday.."

He looked onto the lake, where a mother duck swam with her ducklings.
Rui looked at him and thought for a minute.

"Yea...right...so..when I asked as you wanted to go as friends or more...and you answered depends on me...but I asked you...and not myself."

Tsukasas eyes widened, and stared back at him with pink cheeks, and struggled to asnwer that..and Rui waited patiently.

"Well....um...y-yea...I...-what did you mean with 'go as friends or as more' anyway....?"

He hesistantly answered Rui, while looking away again.

"Well...I meant by that as... partners.......or how do you say that.......as...errr.... couple! there. that's what I meant with that."

Tsukasas cheeks began to burn up as he heard those words..then looking back to Rui...struggling to answer...
He kept on muttering and stuttering not so understandable words.

"Tsukasa..? Hey...are you alright?"

He got worried while Tsukasa was the whole time quietly talking to himself not knowing how to answer that question, since he definitely wanted to go as couple, but which also means that they were only pretending to be one on that day, which he clearly doesn't want. He wants that they are a real couple and not just pretend to be one on that day.

Rui tapped his shoulder but he did not react, so he just pulled the shorter boy onto his lap and hugged him tight.
Tsukasa finally snapped out of it and noticed that Rui hugs him...he burned up once more and buried his face into his chest and hugged him back.

"Ah... you are finally back to normal hm..?"

He patted his back and rested his head onto Tsukasas head, closed his eyes liking it a lot to have him in his arms, while Tsukasa really enjoys his life finally being able to be so close to his crush.
So he spoke up as he got comfortable enough

"I...I apologize..I didn't mean to make you worried.."

He hugged him tighter, ashamed of his behaviour earlier.

"Oh it is alright don't worry...but..are you able to answer my question now..?"

He smiled down at him as Tsukasa nodded before resting his head back onto Tsukasas head.
He took a deep breath and answered

"So...we...we would only pretend to be a couple am I correct.."

He hid more into Ruis chest as he said that, Rui looked down to him and didn't respond at first

"Well...not exactly...I mean...we also could be a couple then, if you are alright with it of course...since...to be honest...I..I would like to you know.."

Tsukasa looked up at him, wide eyes while his head turns bright red as a tomato.

"I-I....are you serious?"

He couldn't believe that his crush right infront of him confessed, he really confessed his feelings to him...meaning he does think of him as well more than just a friend. He took a deep breath and answered

"So...as...as I got it right...you think of me...more than just friends.....meaning...you love me?"

Rui with pink cheeks looked at him and nodded before turning his head away
He couldn't believe that... that he actually feels the same, but probably not since the start, like Tsukasa...

"I...I would love to actually.."

Rui turned his head again looking at a tomato tenma with wide eyes, gently cupping tsukasas face, staring at him seriously

"Tsukasa.... do you really mean that?"

Suddenly he got unsure since he actually said that he would love to be a couple with him, but it sounded like Rui was actually joking.
Then he first just stared back and nodded then cheeks burning up which could Rui feel with his hands.
Tsukasa just got overwhelmed with this Situation and wanted to leave, but he couldn't because Rui held his face.

"Tsukasa. Do you really mean that?"

His breathing got uneven, took his hands away from his face and backed away off his lap..and his eyes got teary looking at Rui

"Yes...now what? Now what? I said that I love you back. Not satisfied? Was that what you just said meant as a joke? Was it???"

Rui looks at him in shock wanting to say something, but leaves it be.
Tsukasa was so close to cry, so he just got up, took his bag and left in a hurry with some tears running down his cheeks, thinking he made a joke out of himself right infront of his crush by confessing and just leaving.

Soon as he got home, he avoided any contact with anyone. He just rushed to his room, locked himself inside and just threw his bag in some corner.
Then he just had let himself fall on the bed, taking that plushi rui made, hugged it tight, while sobbing bitterly into his pillow.
After some time of crying he eventually fell asleep.
