Chapter 16

I was in my own bubble that I didn't notice that we've arrived already.

Lukas opened the door for me and lead me through the pathway with his hand on my lower back.

Nico's house is in a village. His neighboring houses were still empty so no one is bothered by the loud music and bright lights radiating from his house.

Dumiretso lang kami, we didn't bother knocking since no one would likely hear it with the noise. Once we have entered, my jaw dropped. Ang sabi sa'kin ni Nico, friends niya lang daw invited. Parang buong Everette ata andito eh!

Naglalakad kami sa bahay, we would stop every once in awhile because someone would either greet Lukas or congratulate me. I didn't know that many people actually knows me!

"Bro! You've made it!" A drunkenly smiling Nico suddenly appeared in our vision. Pagewang-gewang pa lakad niya. Ang aga pa lang ha! I think it's just almost 10pm and he's already a bunch of shots in.

"Wow! Matchies pa kayo! Sana all goals!" He slurred, nakangiti pa rin.

Napatingin kami ni Lukas sa isa't isa. Nagulat kami kasi oo ngang nag-matchies pa kami!

I was wearing a black sleeveless semi-turtle neck top, denim skirt, black knee high boots, and my gold accessories. He's wearing a black buttoned up polo, a pair of denim jeans, black chucks, and a gold watch. Parehas pang nakabagsak buhok namin, making it appear as if we effortlessly just let it down. Parang ilang beses na hinawi ang buhok gamit ang kamay.

Alanganin lang akong ngumiti sa kanya. There's nothing wrong with matching with someone, accident nga lang 'yong sa'min eh! Pero natatakot ako na baka maramdaman niyang crush ko siya dahil dito! Ang stupid ng reasoning pero gan'to talaga lumalabas sa utak ko!

He smirked at me and wiggled his eyebrows a bit, "we look like a couple."

Napailang ako at iniwasan ang tingin niya, tinatago ang mapupula kong pisnge.

Patuloy kaming naglakad hanggang nakapasok kami sa kusina. His hand was on my lower back, guiding me, through out the time. Umalis siya sa'kin nang saglit para makakuha ng inumin para sa'min.

I already drank two cups when I saw Jules and Sol walking towards us.  "Bakla!" sigaw ni Jules. Halatang excited siya dahil makaka-inom ulit. Sa aming mag tatlong kaibigan, si Julia talaga 'tong mahilig sa mga inuman at pa-party, kaya nga todo payag siya nung inaya ko eh. Sol would rather stay at home reading a book, but I guess napilit siya nang girlfriend niya kaya andito. I don't think there was a time she ever denied Julia's wishes.

Kumuha sila ng cup nila, Sol would only take sips since she's driving for the both of them. "Tara sayaw tayo!" aya ni Jules habang naglalakad nang patungo sa makeshift dance floor sa living room.

I glanced at Lukas and saw a bunch of girls flocking him. He was smiling and nodding, the sight of them caused a stir in my heart. Tila parang may tumusok sa'kin. Napainom ako sa aking baso at sumunod kila Julia.

Sol was off to the side, watching us nearby. While Julia and I were dancing against each other. We were off grinding and touching each other. If it wasn't for the alcohol coursing through my veins, I never would have done this! Once I'm sober, I'll for sure regret it.

Nakatalikod ako kay Julia samantalang siya naman ay nakahawak sa aking bewang. We were feeling the music. May mga taong nanunuod sa'min, no doubt feasting over the show. I would've felt disgusted but I don't care at the moment. My drunk self could not process anything happening.

I think I've had 8 or so cups already. Something triggered inside me when I saw Lukas with those women. I became reckless and refilled my cup over and over again.
