Where to even begin? It has been... strange without you here. If you are still upset with me I understand, but you must understand me as well. I could not risk something possibly happening to you, so that is why I insisted you stay behind on this mission. It is not that I believe you are incapable, I just would not forgive myself if something did happen to you.

I think of you every moment, perhaps way too often now that I'm thinking about it... even when fighting the undead! Und I thought you were such a distraction when you are here...

I do not believe I am the only one who is missing you. Nikolai misses his drinking buddy, he has said so one too many times. I cannot imagine who he could possibly be talking about. I'm not jealous! Don't even begin to think so, I would never be jealous of such an oaf.

I do miss you immensely, and I look forward to when I will see you again. Und I WILL see you again, I promise you that!

I am, what you call, 'overworking myself' and I cannot help it because you are not here to tell me to do otherwise. Sleep is for the weak, ja!?

I haven't slept in days

I still have not figured out how exactly I plan on sending you this letter, but I am sure I will come up with something. I will find one of those carrier pigeons if I must.
