*trigger warning*mentions of suicide.*

Last night neither one of you had gotten much sleep. When you got to the trailer you threw yourself down onto the bed. Eddie curling up around you even though you kept tossing and turning, thinking about what had happened. Should you go ahead and keep the charges or should you drop them? Could you live through that kind of attention again? Eddie held you close, whispering sweet nothings in your ear and running his hands through your hair or in patterns on your back. Eddie's facial bruising made it hard for him to relax. Even against a pillow, so he had propped some of them up against the wall instead of laying down. Eventually the two of you dosed off because his morning alarm caused both of you to jump awake.

You volunteered to use some cover up on him as he parked the van in the school parking lot. He shook his head, "Nah, its okay. Let them stare." You nodded while he got out and walked around to open your door, "Best not be late for class!" Eddie put his arm around your waist, walking you into the building and to your homeroom. He pulled you in, resting his hand on the crook of your neck and kissed you deeply. The others in the room stared. Some giggled, others rolled their eyes. Mrs. Jefferson cleared her throat, "Miss. (L/N), did you want to join us?" Eddie pulled away winking at you before bouncing off to his own class. Blushing, you made your way to sit at a desk so she could begin teaching for the day.

Misty lunged from her locker over to you as you walked by, "Okay, what the hell happened at the mall yesterday? I saw his face in first period." You shook your head, 'Of course she had noticed.' Quietly as you exchanged some books from your bag you told her all about yesterday's events. She leaned in, pulling tightly down on her backpack straps, "You're shitting me!?" She shook her head with a little laugh, as she leaned back against the lockers, "Wow, he was literally your knight in shining armor. How fucking awesome is that?" She nudged your arm, "He's a good one. You should keep him." You blushed thinking about the last two months where you two were practically inseparable. The last few years ran threw your mind too. The two of you had hung out at times, done projects together. Attended a few school events, although he opted to skip out on most of those. His beautiful brown eyes, his gorgeous smile, his contagious laugh...his infectious touch. You liked it all, no loved it all. Misty clapped her hands in front of your face, "Earth to (Y/N). Where did ya go?" You smiled, biting your lip. You looked over at your friend, heart beating rapidly, "Misty...I'm in love with Eddie Munson." She smiled back at you, "Duh...its so obvious." You shook your head at her as the two of you walked to your next class. Playfully bumping shoulders with each other.

During lunch you waved over at Robin, she was in your next class which just happened to be "GYM". It was more like a free period where you could pretty much do anything you wanted. An arm draping itself over your shoulders brought you from your thoughts, "M'lady, how is your day going?" You smiled up at him as he guided the both of you over to the lunch table, "Pretty decent so far. Thank you for asking. How's yours?" Dustin scooted over so you could sit next to him and Eddie took his seat at the head of the table. Everyone excitedly talking about their days and interests. He shook his head, taking out the bag of cheez-its from his lunch box, "S'alright. More looks than usual because of the black eye but no one has asked about it yet." You nodded as he offered you some, "Yeah...it'll go away in a few day's babe. I'm sorry." You gave his hand a squeeze before grabbing a cracker and crunching on it. He looked over at you tilting his head slightly, "Totally worth it." He threw a few crackers in the air, his hair shaking a back and forth slightly he moved his head to catch them in his mouth. You laughed at his antics before taking a bite out of the sandwich he rushed to make you this morning while you got ready in the bathroom.

He, Gareth, Jeff and Devon were planning their next jam session which caused you to peak your head up from your sandwich, "Can I please not have to listen to other music now...you guys are awesome!" The three guys looked at each other before Jeff held out a shirt..., "So, like you've already joined Hellfire. Plus, You and Eddie are fucking inseparable; We got this shirt made for you." You bit your bottom lip as you reached across the table to take it from him. For two reasons. One, did they even get the right size and two what kind of shirt was it even going to be? Eddie looked just as confused as you did, shrugging when you looked over at him as you opened it up to take a look. The first thing you noticed was the bands name and logo, you turned it around to look at the back. It read, 'Band Manager'. You whipped your head up; Eddie was smiling like crazy, biting his bottom lip. He clearly feigned ignorance a few seconds earlier. You looked at them all, nervous but excited, "Are you serious? You want me to be your manager!?" They all nodded laughing and nudging one another, Devon spoke up, "Yeah, after we played the other night we realized what we had been missing was groupies and some serious management. You already show up to our practices. Except for the one where we learned that RATT song. You're the perfect person for the job and Eddie was all for it." Eddie leaned on his hand, elbow propped on the table, "Yeah, cause you know, you're way more responsible then us and stuff. We had a few more shirts made too; they say Groupie on the back. Misty can have one if she wants." You laughed and put it on over your other shirt, it was clearly sized right and you were beaming at the fact the guys finally accepted you, "This is going to be awesome! Thanks guys!" Eddie reached over and grabbed your hand, kissing your knuckles before popping some more crackers into his mouth.
