Twenty One Days| Taekook

Chapter 6

The sweet chippings from birds, and the rays of the bright sun disturbed the beauty sleep of the new couple whose bodies seemed to have been entangled with each other.

Jungkook was the first to surrender to the rays and slowly opened his eyes. A strong urge to remove the hair that fell on his eyes engulfed him- it was then he came to quick realization that a very handsome bear was laying on top of him restricting any movements.

He tried blowing his hair away as his mouth went in different directions, helping him achieve his aim. His eyes gradually moved to see the sleeping beauty. Jungkook felt he was indeed a sleeping 'beauty'.  His pretty long eyelashes compliment his debatably unique eyelids. Those lips that carried a natural tint formed a pout, making his bread cheeks scream out. 

He noticed the numerous little moles that were settled on his face. His finger moved slowly and gently across each of them, trying to not disturb the beauty's beauty sleep. Jungkook quickly realized the moles almost made the constellation of Capricorn, he laughed at the co-incidence. 

The clock in the room showed 9:00 am, making Kook realize it is time that the both of them went down. The moles attracted him a bit too much, as he began kissing each one to wake Tae up. He was successful, considering Tae woke up with tinted cheeks. 

Jungkook almost cooed, as he analyzed Tae's morning look. His fluffy hair sprouting out at different parts. His eyes almost shut, begging Tae to close the tiny gap. His rose lips forming a little pout.

"What a nice way to wake up!" Tae said.

"Then I promise there wouldn't be a single day where my kiss won't wake you up." Jungkook replied with a wink

"Enough! Jin hyung will be waiting. I'll leave, you can stay here!" Tae replied, before running to the washroom with tinted cheeks and at that moment, Jungkook realized the loneliness that previously engulfed his bed had disappeared.

The days passed by quickly, and their romance kept growing. It would be more appropriate to call it, secret romance, considering the both of them hid it from the hyungs and Haneul. Jungkook felt it would be appropriate to reveal it to them after they gained a bit more trust over Taehyung and their relationship. 

Jungkook found it very interesting to have a hidden relationship. Sometimes the kitchen utensils, sofas and televisions, beds, sun and moon were the only witness to their beautiful and blooming relationship. 

Until this moment, as their romance was revealed by Jimin, who found them not bothering about the burning pancakes but were busy playing with the pancake batter. The mysterious duo sat on couch, surrounded by 5 hyungs who sat on the ground, boring their eyes into them, along with Hani who just sat emotionless. 

Jin: What?
Namjoon: When?
Yoongi: Who?

Jungkook: What do you mean, who?! Of course, it is Taehyung!

"Hyungs, sorry! We didn't mean to hide the relationship. I wanted you all to trust me a bit more and like me before we revealed our relationship. I really like Jungkookie. No one has ever made me feel more loved and accepted. It is almost like the world pauses when I am in his embrace. Above all, he trusts me, and the feeling of being trusted by someone who you love so much is indescribable. Please accept us!" Tae spoke, tears pooling in his eyes. 

He immediately put his head down. Anxiously, his fingers began to pick out his skin as his palms rubbed against each other. Fear clouding his senses- this relationship meant much more to him than what anyone could expect. The thought of the hyungs asking them to call off their relationship made his walls crash down slowly. 

Warmness sparked through his veins, as he felt a palm hold his gently. His neck almost sprained at the speed at which he turned towards Kook. To his uttermost surprise, calmness was evidently present on his face. Jungkook gave a gentle nod and gave a reassuring smile. To others this was just another comforting move but to Taehyung, this was a plus one reason to hold on to this man, who understood his turmoil when people have plainly ignored it throughout his life.

Namjoon: Taehyung-ah! I am not going to lie, but we were initially hesitant about your relationship. Not because we didn't like you or thought you were a bad person, but simply because we just didn't know you. I don't think any of us know who 'Taehyung' is completely, even Jungkook. There are aspects of you that is possibly going to remain forever hidden to us, but we are willing to wait until you open up. Remember, not just me but all of us love you and Jungkook together. 

Taehyung couldn't hold himself back, as he quickly crashed into Namjoon's embrace. Joon began laughing and wrapped his arms around Taehyung. To him, it felt like a vulnerable baby bear had entered his embrace. 

Tae felt soft pats on his back, as he slowly came out of Joon's embrace. His face titled slightly, while his lips pursed into a thin line (tata mic face is the best!) . His eyes suddenly shined brightly, making everyone remember young Jungkook's doe and shimmering eyes. 

Everyone had a smile on their face, until Hani asked a little question with tears brimming in her eyes. 

"Does thwat mean dwada will lowve TawTae also? Hannie wants dwada to love her onwly! " She silently spoke, before running upstairs. 

The calmness previously present on Jungkook's face had disappeared, as he least expected this reaction from Hani and it completely broke his heart to know he left his daughter in a situation where she thought she wouldn't be loved enough. 

Tae, who immediately knew his little bunny's brain would begin overthinking, ran to Jungkook and took his hands in his. His face that kept staring at the floor in despair was slowly moved by Taehyung to meet with his eyes.  

"Love, Hani's reaction is absolutely normal. She grew up with having all your attention on her alone, and the thought of having someone who would be her other paternal figure will be overwhelming to anyone of her age. Talk to her and spend time with her. We will slowly try to bring in my presence in her routine, and let's hope she will want me to be her father until then let's not pressure her. I'll be her Taetae and you be her dada and my love."

Jungkook just smiled and placed a kiss on Tae's forehead, before running to Hani's room.

Almost half an hour later, Jungkook and Hani came down the stairs in matching t-shirts and pants. Halfway along the lockdown, hospitals and pharmacies were open for emergencies. Although boring, Jungkook decided it would be nice to take Hannie to the doctors for her regular flu shot, while spending some time with her. 

Taehyung, who saw that the duo were dressed to go outside visibly panicked and straightened. His hands began trembling as he stood pondering upon different ways in which he could stop the duo. 

Jungkook: The both of us are going for a drive to the hospital to get Hannie's....

Before Jungkook could complete, Taehyung screamed "absolutely no". while he held onto the wall to support his trembling self.

Hello everyone! Firstly, I'm so sorry for not being consistent. School has been really difficult but I promise to be more frequent with updates. 
Secondly, thank you for all your love for the book- things are going to get a bit more interesting and I hope I do justice to the plot through my writing.
