FIVE MONTHS LATER
Smashing through a dozen stacked crates, Chief Death would fall to the ground. Grunting in pain, he would look to his arm. Noticing a small chunk of wood stabbed into him, he'd growl. Grabbing onto one of his katanas which laid on the floor beside him, the chief would throw it straight forward. As it hurdled through the sky, it headed for an average sized person.
With a black and blue dyed mullet, several piercings and a huge smile, they'd quickly transform. Turning into a huge splash of water, the liquid would fall to the floor. Dodging the weapon just in time, the watery villain would drip its way over to the male Death Sibling. Surrounding him, it would transform back into a human before leaping at the anti-hero. Kicking him right in the privates, the chief would skid back. Holding himself, he'd stutter.
"Jesus, who the hell are you?"
"Who am I? I'm Stiff H²O, bitch!" They would yell. "And don't worry, I'll make sure you don't forget it!"
Holding their hands together, a bubbling noise began to be heard. As if they were charging up an attack... BASH!
Smashing her pistol into the head of the villain, Bella-Rose watched H²O fall to the ground. As the assassin grabbed the top of their head, the villain would shoot a beam of water towards the female. Forcing her up into the air, Bella-Rose would land on the ground.
"Who are you then!" Stiff yelled, jumping onto their feet.
"We're The Death Siblings!" Callum started.
"The Deathly Duo!" Megan added.
Quickly grabbing onto his gun, Chief Death would aim it towards the villain. Taking a shot, they'd suddenly turn back into a puddle. Sinking away, the two siblings would get upon their feet before walking towards each other. Noticing the villain had got away, they would shrug in sync. Looking around the abandoned building they stood in, they quickly shared the same thought.
"This place is in a great location..." Bella-Rose told her brother.
"I agree, I think Carl will like the place too!" He replied.
"Okay then, it's decided!" She smiled with glee. "We'll buy this place and open here!"
Suddenly gasping with pain, Chief Death would look back down to his wound. The shard of wood would still be stuck in his arm. With him looking at it, so too would his sister. Sighing at the sight of it, she looked to him.
"Let's get back... I'm sure Carl will fix you up!"
The two would turn to the exit of the building, leaving quickly. As they made their way down the street, they would turn the corner. Walking a few more yards, they'd arrive at an apartment building. Walking inside, they made their way to the first flat. Bella-Rose would pull out some keys and would unlock the door before allowing the pair inside.
The place was very run down and bare boned. A green, dusty couch sat by the door with a small TV on a crate opposite. The squared room would have a small hallway leading off into the kitchen where Carl was. Cooking up a storm, he'd turn around as he heard the two approach. Smiling at his friends, he'd instantly notice the chiefs wound. Grabbing a med kit from beside him, the beast of a man rushed over.
Holding his arm, the man began to bandage around the edge of the wound before slowly pulling the shard out. As the chief grinded his teeth in pain, Carl would clean the cut. Making sure there were no wood particles or dirt left, the man proceeded to stitch him up.
"If only I had powers like you..." Chief Death muttered, glancing over to his sister.
"You're that good, you don't need them!" She chuckled in response.
After a few minutes, Carl would finish. Looking to his arm, the chief would nod his head. Patting his large friend on the back, Callum quickly perked up as he smelt the food. Glaring over to the oven, he would see Carl was making something. Even though they had a small budget, he always made it work.
"Anyway!" Bella-Rose spoke up. "Carl, we found the perfect place... Now we just need a perfect name!"
Quickly, a devious look grew over his face. Spinning around, the man would leave the room. Returning a few seconds later, he'd seem to have a binder in his hand. Dropping it before the two, he would open it and flick through the pages. Finding what he was after, he'd turn it towards them. On the pages were multiple ideas for names of places they could open, but Carl would point to a specific one. Circled several times in black pen-ink, Bella-Rose would read it aloud.
"The Moonlight Lounge..."
Glancing to her brother, the two would smile a nod.
"Interesting but not suspicious, a perfect place to secretly set up base at! And I bet it will become a staple place in London!" He nodded.
Carl would clap his hands before going back to his cooking.
A building had been chosen. A name selected. A place for no discrimination, and secret endeavours. What could be better?
Opening the cupboards before him, Callum would pull out two duffle bags. Throwing them upon the counter tops, he would smile. Standing beside his sister, he would zip open one bag to reveal multiple stacks of money.
"Living poor and robbing those who deserved it has really worked... With two million pounds just in these bags alone, I think we're gonna be good!" He would smirk.
"One last thing to do..." Bella-Rose butted in. "Time to... See the family."
The chief would turn to the necklace wearer with a worried look. They hadn't seen their family in years, who knows if they would even want to see them? The two siblings had bickered and fought over if they should speak to their family again or not, but it was Carl who finally persuaded them to... With a nod!
"We'll be back for dinner..." Megan spoke.
With that, The Death Siblings left the flat. Making their way around London, the pair would find themselves outside a council estate. As they went to make their way inside, something quickly caught their attention. Zooming above them, to their surprise, was a man covered in flames. Landing a few feet away from them, they'd watch him tackle someone to the ground. As The Death Siblings watched, they realised who they both were.
"It's that fire guy that took down Father Flame, from the news!" Bella-Rose started.
"And that's Stiff H²O, again!" Chief Death added.
As the two battled, they would use their powers to attack each other. The flame man shot his barrage of flames, forcing Stiff into a car. The guy would land and chuckle, giving the siblings a good look of the man. He was literally just covered in flames. He looked awesome!
Bella-Rose would clap and cheer, catching the mans attention. But as he looked over, all he could do was gasp. The flames around his body would flicker violently before disappearing. Meanwhile Stiff H²O took the opportunity to escape.
With The Death Siblings and the flame man staring each other down, the siblings would realise who the man was. It was Sky Hilling... Their cousin.
"Callum..." Sky stuttered, looking between them. "Megan..."
As The Death Siblings looked between one another, they would look back to their cousin and nod.
"Yeah..." Megan scratched the back of her head. "Hey Cuz!"
