Chapter 12

ELIZABETH's POV
I can't see anything, it's dark!
"Josh?" I yell.
I don't get a response. I try to escape from the chair, but I can't!

I hear footsteps come up behind me! I scream, but nothing happens.

I feel something cold and smooth come across my throat! It's a knife, if I move, they could slit my throat.

I think hard on what to do.

"Why are you doing this?!" I ask.

"Remember all those years I was your third wheel? I was supposed to be your best friend. I stuck around just so I could get my pay back. I'm sick of being treated like your puppy. Where ever Melanie goes, I go. NO! I'm done with that. I'm finished. This is revenge Mel."

I feel them slide the knife down my body. It's then immediately stabbed in my leg. I scream.

"You wanna scream? Here let me join you?" They scream. And at that moment, I realized it was a girl.

I hear josh crying but I can't tell where it's coming from.

If I try hard enough, I can probably free my hands from the rope. I have to be careful though. She could be watching.

"You can try to escape all you want? It's not gonna work." She says.

"Who are you? Why are you doing this? What did I ever do to you?" I ask.

"You-" she gets cut off by josh moaning.

"Oh my gods. Josh are you alright? It's me, it's Elizabeth. I found you and.. You're alive."

He barely speaks but he says my name. "Liz?"

I feel something sharp stab me in the leg.

"Did I tell you to talk to him? No, so don't!" She says.

"Hannah, I understand why you're doing this.. It's pointless. You're not gonna break us up." I here josh say from a distance. "Just let us go!"

"Hannah? You think I'm Hannah? Hah no. Hannah isn't smart enough to pull this off. That little whore can't do anything right. Look how awfully her relationship with you went." She says while laughing. "Hannah, you're funny josh. I guess that's why I love you."

I hear her walk over towards him and kiss him.

My
heart
breaks.

Why is this happening? Where did I go wrong?

I'm moving my arms trying to escape from the rope.

One of my hands comes out of the rope. I pull the other one out but keep them behind my back.

JOSH's POV
What is she doing? Who is she? I really thought it could have been Hannah. What all had she done to Liz? I need to stop this.

"Elizabeth? Can you here me?" I ask.

"-yea.." She barely makes come out.

What has happened to her?

"We're gonna get out of this, I promise! We'll figure something out." I tell her.

"Haha no you won't. You guys are pathetic. Get over yourselves. I'm going to kill-" she gets cut off and someone screams.

What's going on? What just happened?

"Liz?"

I hear a knife hit the floor then a body. Tears start rolling down my face. The love of my life has just been killed.

"Why would you do this? What do you have against us?" I beg.

"Josh, it's me Liz. I knocked her out. Let's get out of her before she wakes up." Liz says.

She untied me from my chair and we start running out the door and I feel something stab me in the back.

.... I was stabbed. She wasn't knocked out. She's awake and she stabbed me.

"Run.. Liz." Is all I could say before I black out.

ELIZABETH's POV
Oh, my gods. Josh?!

"Show yourself. Quit fighting in the dark. Tell me who you are." I yell while looking for a switch.

"I can't believe you don't recognize my voice. After all... I was your best friend.." She said and I here her sniffle a bit.

Then it comes to my mind.

ASHLEY. She's been doing this...

HAHAHA. HEY EVERYONE. I LOVE YOU TO DEATH. I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS CHAPTER.
