Maths is so boring, I don't see why I have to know how to do simultaneous equations! Everyone else must be thinking the same thing including the teacher. We all have the same bored robot like expressions as Mr Low carry's on mumbling. One boy has even fallen asleep at the back of the class, that's how boring maths is. One good thing about right now is that is fourth period and the lesson only has five more minutes. Five minutes that will seem like forever.
"Psst Tara." Mia whispered from the table to the right of me. "Look out the window." She pointed to the window I sat by.
It wasn't hard to spot why she was looking at. Captain of the netball team, Kim, was feeling all of Brody's body as they kissed next to his car. Disgust rushed through my body and then to my stomach. Did they have to do that where everyone could see?
Ring ring! The bell went and so did the two kissers. Mia and I walked out and too the lunch room, only we didn't make it there. Jason approached us and we haven't spoke since Friday.
"Hey Tara. Can we talk please?" He actually sounded like he was pleading and I really want to clear things up with him. Waving Mia off, we headed towards the green area begins the football pitch.
After sitting in silence for a while Jason finally broke it.
"Babe I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have snapped at you like I did the other day. It's just we don't seem very close any more! Not like we used to be." His brown eyes stared into mine he was so close that I could practically count his deep breaths. Jason's hand found my face and he slowly lined my lips with his thumb. His lips connected with mine an I pulled him in closer not pulling away. The both of us sat for a while in each other's arms and stayed here until we were interrupted. The one and only Brody walked round the corner. Seriously he couldn't have timed his arrival at a better time? As Jason noticed him he stiffened next to me. Brody spotted us and his face dropped but he gathered his confident face back. He walked off leaving me feeling so awkward. Why did I feel happier when I saw him? I'm supposed to be happy with Jason not when I see Brody!!

Mia, Nichole and I sat in my over grown backyard on my swing set. It's really old but still works and will hopefully still be good for Troy to use. We have been sat here since we got home from school so only an hour. The three of us always came back to my house and sat here. Mostly on Mondays, Wednesday's and Fridays.
"So what's with you and Jason now?" Nichole questioned me for the third time. I don't know what to say. I thinks we are still in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. She keeps asking and she doesn't normally seen to care about my relationship especially with Jason. Something is different.
"I think we are still together I mean he told me he was sorry and then we kissed. But nothing else happened because Brody walked past and made things weird."
Jason walked me to assembly after being outside. We only spoke about school and nothing else after seeing Brody. I don't think Jason will ever "like" Brody again which means I have to make minimal or no contact with him. He lives next door so it'll be hard not to see the boy.
An hour past and the girls left so I could do some school work. It's around 6:40 so I'll have dinner soon with the family.
"Tara get dressed and wear something nice. We are going out to eat. Ming Moon for lunch!" Mum shouted. Ming Moon is an amazing restaurant. It has all kinds off food and it's an all you can eat restaurant. It's only small but was very popular and you had to reserve a table. We hadn't been for at least a year and I miss the food so much.
Putting on my skinny jeans and flowery top with some black heels I left my room. Mum, dad and the twins were already ready and waiting to go. Troy sat quietly in his chair while his babysitter/cousin played with him. My cousin John loved looking after Troy because he wants to teach him how to play rugby and its his only male cousin.
"See you later Jake. By me bye Troy Mummy and Daddy love you." Mum squealed pushing us all out the door and to the car.
Waiting for us was the Fisher family and the Harley family. Did they want someone to get killed tonight? How were they getting along? So many question to be answered. Everyone greeted each other and got into each of our cars. The journey was quiet only the music was heard. Mum and Das silently sat in the front of our small car. Whilst Tia, Tammy and I squashed into the back hardy any room to move. It took only ten minutes to get to Ming Moon but it seemed like it took more. Two other cars pulled up next to our making us look like a thorn between two roses. Not only was the car old but it was also falling apart. Dad always say it doesn't matter what it looks like as long as it takes us where we need to go.
Sitting around the large table was eleven of us. My family, Brody and his Mum and Jason, his parents (Carly and Rose) and his sister Lily. Jason is the only boy in his house. I feel really sorry for him that he doesn't have a father figure. His Mums do try their best though. I sat between Jason and Brody and opposite Karen; Brody's Mum. Jason kept his arm round my shoulders the whole time, never letting me close to Brody. The tension was so thick you could probably see it in the air. The parents were one side of the table and us kids the other. My Dad sat in the end of the table though Everyone around us was talking and laughing about different things. Only Brody, Jason and I were anti-social.
"Here are your drinks. I hope you enjoy your meals." A tall waiter handed out a few drinks with the help of another waiter and left us to get our food. My parents and Karen left first, followed by Carly and Rose then the twins.
"Come on babe lets get us some food." Jason moved his chair out of the way. I caught him giving Brody a dirty look before smiling at me and placing his hand on my back. These two really need to chill and try to get along. Even if it's just for tonight.
"Jase can you please try and be nice to Brody. Yes I saw your little death stare." He tried to interject but I stopped him. "Please even if it's just for tonight. Do you really want to get into something again?"
He stared at me thinking carefully about his answer. Chirp! He is saved by his phone. Lucky idiot. He pulled his phone out of his blue jeans and his face tensed as he looked at the callers name. Jason put I phone to his ear and walked off outside leaving me standing by the food. I've got to say if I was watching me right now I would be laughing but no u have to go through getting left and embarrassed. Anyone could see he hair walked off and ignored me. I look over to the table and see Brody staring at me. His face tense and angry, with his fist clenched on the table. He looked amazing in his tight blue shirt and black jeans. I gave him a quick smile and tried to lighten the mood; this made him get up and walk over. Great he might start asking questions.
"What's he doing? He just left you." He grabbed a plate for himself then one for me. "I saw he didn't even say where he was going when he picked up the phone. Is lover boy hiding something from you?" His eyes widened like realised what he had said. He scratched the back of his neck and looked at his shoes. Okay all boys in the movies do this when they feel awkward.
"It's not like I need to know what he does every second. And what do you mean 'is he hiding something'" I questioned him. Brody's eyes flickered like he was thinking about what to say. His phone better not ring now. I don't want another unanswered question.
"Nothing I mean nothing. I was just teasing." He walked to the Chinese section of food. Come on! Anyone could see he was lying to me. Did he know something I didn't.
"Tell me. I know you know something. You're lying to me." I face him before turning back to get some food. He piled his plate with more food and went back towards the table completely ignoring me. Jason still hasn't came back in and I had been left once again. Am I that horrible?! Following him back to the table he had already started a conversation with his Mum. It's probably nothing. Maybe he is just teasing me.
Five minutes later Jason finally returned to the table with his food as a smile on his face. He looks like nothing has happened. I ask him where he had been and be just said that hi mates were inviting him out to a party. They never stop partying or going out places. For the rest of the night I pushed all my thought to the back of my head and laughed with the family's.
