Sunday, September 4, 10:30 am [Lake]

I and the crew were setting down our things near the lake on the rocks. On the hike there, Maliea was texting and laughing at what we presumed was Finney texting her.

Me and Dimitri held hands the whole way to the lake. It was still decently hot out to swim even though it was September, we start school tomorrow. We're going to Park East Valley Highschool, it's a pretty basic high school. The crew doesn't know if Maliea's most recent crush is going but yeah! We all got out of our hike clothes and into our bathing suits that were underneath. I was the first in the water, slowly at first but I dived in as soon as it hit my belly button level. Corbin cannonballs into the water splashing me in the process. Savannah got in soon after with a pencil dive. Dimitri swung on a branch falling into the deeper part of the lake. "COWABUNGA" he screamed as he sang. Maliea sat on a rock outside of the water laughing and looking at her phone. Bro, she is texting him I thought as I rolled my eyes playfully, but kind still kinda annoyed. I looked over back to the rest of the group. Corbin and Savannah have a splash battle. Dimitri was swimming toward me "Hey!" I said as he reached where I was sitting on the sand in the water "hey, what are you doing over here?" he asked while settling down next to me. "Oh, I just got bored!" I said with a smile "oh well, let's do something then!" he said in the goofy British accent he does. "Okay just give me a minu-" I stopped speaking, and the words just disappeared right in my mouth. I was looking at maliea who was sitting on a rock right next to the path to come down to the lake. I ended up screaming, causing everybody to look at me. "MALIEA RUN!" I cried in total horror, maliea turned her head while jumping off the rock a lady with a massive kitchen knife came booking down the path from the top of the hill. "OH MY GOD!" Savannah gasped. Corbin hurried and swam to where Maliea was, she was halfway around the lake. He started to say something to her. I and Dimitri got up and started to climb the rocks that were right behind us. "We have to go," I said to Dimitri. "Yeah, who was that!?" He said in a shaken-up voice just like I had the night of the man in the woods. After maliea ran around the lake, the woman still chasing after her, she shattered to head back up the trail 

"Savannah, Cobin can you guys grab everything me, and Dimitri will try and help maliea!" After they agreed to grab everything, and Dimitri was on our way to help maliea we headed through the woods hand in hand. We ran into maliea at the exit of the woods "MALIEA!" I cried over to my best friend who was out of breath but heading toward me and Dimitri. I hugged maliea when we saw the lady heading up the path, walking very slowly though. She was. . . singing, RUBY FIER!?. We decided to book it to the park. She vanished into thin fucking air "WHERE DID SHE GO!?" Maliea cried with her voice full of fear, trying to call Finney. "Huh?" I asked with a confused, but scared voice. Next thing I know I'm crying. "I HATE THIS" I screamed and cried. What is happening, what is this, why. . . why. Would this have happened if Finney was here?...
