{where is she!?}

Maliea has been gone for almost a week and this is the first time we've gotten together because none of us have been able to talk about her without feeling sad, or even crying. In an attempt to cope with her disappearance, all of us including Finney have hung up missing posters around town trying to find her. Finney has been blasting her favorite songs loudly from the seventh floor. For somebody who has only known her for like 2 weeks, he's grown close to her.
We all sat in a circle. Me, Mya, The Twins. The four of us worried sick about our friend, who has never gone anywhere without letting anybody know where she was going to be. "Did she tell any of you guys anything!?" I asked. "Wel-" mya started but was cut off by a KNOCK KNOCK! Dimitri got up from his spot on the floor, and headed to the door, peeking through the peephole and then realizing it was just Finney.
"Hey, guys.." Finney said, his voice quivering, while he spoke. "Finney, have you been crying?" I got up from the couch and asked. "Uh- yeah.." mya got up from where she was and pulled Finney into a hug "It's okay, we'll find her!" Mya said, sounding hopeful, as her voice broke. As Mya separated from the hug, I watched her eyes get watery. Then she broke down, loud sobs came from the girl in sweatpants and a hoodie, she hid her face in Dimitri's chest just sobbing. All of us are an emotional wreck right now, we all miss Maliea.
"She did show me something on the last facetime call I had with her yesterday..." Finney spoke up in tears with some hope that she could be there. All eyes went to him, everybody gave him a tell us! Look. "She said she had a babysitting job on 5th street, it looked like an old abandoned house when the camera was flipped.." Realization painted Finney's face. "That's the same house-" He caught himself, grabbing his bag and running towards the front door slamming the front door behind him. "Should we follow him?" Corbin asked stupidly. "Obviously, you dumbass bitch!" Dimitri said, grabbing his shoes and running down the hallway.
"They are sending us on another goose chase." I nudged Mya's shoulder while she sadly chuckled. All of us made an effort trying to catch up to Finney, but he was too fast. Once we had finally caught up to him, he was ringing his own house's doorbell. A young girl answered the door in her pajamas, she glanced at each of us and stopped to see Dimitri, and a light blush spread across her face, while Finney whispered something in her ear making her eyes widen. Quickly she closed the door and reopened it running with Finney, god knows where. All of the crew were confused but followed in different directions. Finally, we had caught up to the anxious girl and boy in the presence of the strong smell of blood. "Finney you don't have to-" The girl grabbed onto his sleeve. "I have to, she means the world to me.!" Finney said, pulling out a picture of Maliea and him, smiling.
Corbin looked at him funny, with a look of THIS BITCH TRYNA STEAL MY GIRL! Everybody was still confused at what was unfolding, but the look on Finney and the girl's faces made us all not say anything. Finney walked slowly to the front door, beginning to bang on the door, not caring about the neighbors. A man answered the door with half of what looked like a skull mask, his face covered in makeup acting as if he was frightened by the banging, but he was horrible at acting. "What's wrong kids?" The strange-looking man said, only opening the rusted door a crack open. "Listen here, you fucking circus clown wannabe, our friend is missing and this was the last place she was at." The girl said angrily. "So you tell us where she's at, and we won't call the police!" Finney said, practically throwing the man the missing person flier that he picked up before we walked up to the house. Something happened after that, the same screams Mya had heard the day Maliea went missing echoed in the front of the house. Finney turned back to us, mouthing the words, Run to the nearest neighbor's house and call the police!
Me and Mya ran as fast as we could, knocking on every single house until somebody answered. The fourth house we ran to had a young woman inside around her late-twenties or mid-thirties and luckily answered the door. "Miss! We need the cops called right now! Our friend is being held captive in one of your neighbors' houses! It's the first one that looks old, please hurry ma'am! " Showing her the poster demanding. The lady looked shocked, she ran back inside in a hurry, dialing the police. We ran back to the old-looking house sitting on the edge of the sidewalk, anxiously waiting for the police to arrive, while the boys shouted at the creepy fucker with a blank look.
The police showed up a little after that, but with paramedics. The cops shot the man dead, right in front of all of us. Mya started to cry as they proceeded to enter the ripped-up house, a cop stayed behind making sure all of us were alright, as we were shaken up from the incident that just occurred. Finney stands there, frozen in his tracks anxiously waiting for Maliea to come out of that house, alive. The girl, whose name I know is Gwen, was trying her best to comfort the boy, almost breaking down sobbing as well at the image of her only friend being dead. Corbin and Dimitri sat beside a sobbing Mya, doing their best to comfort their heartbroken best friend. I stood there, saying nothing, trying to comprehend this entire thing. Maliea, Please walk through that front door.! The policeman's radio snapped me out of my thoughts. "A second suspect down, send paramedics, we have a body!" No... Paramedics quickly run past all of us. My heart drops to the floor, and Finney starts to pace back and forth, holding back tears. Mya screams into her chest of Dimitri as the paramedics bring out a body on a stretcher, covered. THUMP! All of us turned our heads except mya who was uncontrollably sobbing, leaving tear stains on Dimitri's light pink shirt.
"Finn?" Somebody called out.
