George is a very positive person, he is very kind and tries to find joy in everything

Everyone in the hospital knew him and absolutely adored him for his bubbly personality

But he has Cystic Fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis is a genetic condition. It's caused by a faulty gene that affects the movement of salt and water in and out of cells. This, along with recurrent infections, can result in a build-up of thick, sticky mucus in the body's tubes and passageways - particularly the lungs and digestive system.

Basically a dieseas that affects his lungs and his digestive system

But he didn't live in the hospital, CFers can live just like every other person, but when they're lungs get infected or if a bacteria gets into their system they most likely will need to be hospitalised

So Georges lungs got infected, which is not a rare thing to happen for him, his immune system is very weak and he gets sick all the time

So the hospital is a second home for him, he has his own room there and knows every nurse, doctor and even some patients

But in the hospital it was only him that had CF so he didn't have anyone to talk about the problems

He always hated being hospitalised because it made him feel trapped and sometimes it caused him to get a little depressed

He is always alone in the hospital, he is already 17 so he does every treatment by himself, he doesn't need a nurse to tell him how, the first time he ever came to the hospital was when he just turned 2 and he had problems with breathing

He's an introvert, he didn't speak to strangers much

But being alone for 1-5 months still brakes him

His mom does care about him, but she rarely goes to the hospital because she has a lot of work

Even George told her that it was fine, she didn't have to come every week

His dad left before he was even born, so it's very hard for his mom, but he's not 18 yet so the government pays for all the medical stuff and hospital bills

They moved to the US right after they found out about Georges disease because the US is more advanced when it comes to treating CF

Georges life seemed boring to him, he barely had friends because he is home schooled but he rarely actually does any school work, he usually reads or writes books, he already published 2 books about CF, nobody pressured or forced him to study

He also really enjoyed looking at the starry night skies, whenever he looked at the shining stars it was like they somehow gave him hope

He's pretty pale with dark eyebags under his eyes, but his appearance never bothered him

Even though he was depressed he never showed it to anyone every nurse saw him as this positive guy that likes to study and just spreads a lot of love
