Leviathan quickly opened the door and shoved Emi in, causing her to stumble into the room. Her jaw almost dropped when she saw the room and its decorations.

It felt like an underwater bedroom. To say that Leviathan owned a lot of anime merch would be a massive understatement - figurines were placed neatly on the shelves; posters were hung nicely on the walls; various manga books were crammed into the bookshelves. There was a huge water tank that took up an entire bedroom wall, and in the center, there was a bathtub with a blanket thrown over it. Leviathan had a gaming setup and speakers with several items and snacks strewn across the floor.

Leviathan quickly stepped into the room, peeking his head out of the door and looking both ways before retreating and slamming the door shut.

"Why did you, erm, look around before shutting the door?" Emi asked, slightly confused.

"What's that now?" he grumbled, looking slightly down towards the floor. "You want to know why I looked around to see if anyone was watching before I closed the door?"

He looked up, and a small panicked expression was etched across his face. "Why do you THINK I did it? Isn't it obvious?! Imagine what would happen if someone saw me inviting you into my room! A human who doesn't even look like an otaku, but a normie! You know what people would say, right?!" he yelped.

"Are you an otaku, Leviathan?" Emi asked. He certainly seemed like one, based off of what he had just said and his room's decorations.

"Hey! Are you trying to judge me? You think you're better than me, is that it? Don't you dare make fun of otakus! Listen up, because it's time for a truth bomb. The fact is that no matter how much of a normie you think you are, everyone out there is an otaku in some way! Every single person! ...Well, I mean, I guess I'm not technically a person, but that's beside the point!" he rambled.

Emi listened to Leviathan's rambling while scanning the bookshelves. There were small books, paperback books, thick books, hardcover books...
Emi's eyes landed on a specific thick, hardcover book that was the size of an encyclopedia. It was titled The Tale of the Seven Lords: The Lord of Shadow Awakens.

"Wait... is that-?"

"What is it, human?" Leviathan asked Emi, interrupting her thoughts. "What're you looking at?"
