Trouble in paradise

Lizzie puts her brush down then takes Hope's hand and sits her on the bed. Hope wanted to know the truth not paying attention on what Lizzie was doing with her.

"Ok, I lied about Stefanie but how did you find out?"

Hope scoff looking away in disbelief that Lizzie would ask that.

"I can't believe you Lizzie you ask me that when I ask you why did you lie about Stefanie answer that Lizzie."

Lizzie gulped and roll her eyes, "Why are you getting overworked about it I was telling you the truth about the rumors."

"Seriously? You told me lies about your cousin so I would hate her and stand up for you I would've stand up for no matter what but lying about someone bullying you is not the way."

Hope was about to walk out the room but Lizzie grabbed her wrist. Hope turns around trying to contain her anger a anger she shouldn't have but does.

"Look Hope Stefanie always got everything I just wanted what she has I just overreacted and I am sorry about that but I can't act like I like her."

Hope scoff then pull her arm away shaking her head.

"Lizzie sometimes you have to stop thinking about yourself in most situations. I have to find this box I don't have time for this."

Before Lizzie could say anything Hope walked out. Lizzie clenched her jaw squeezing her legs hard as possible. She could feel the jealousy she had for Stefanie and the rage she felt for Hope who stood up her her. Lizzie realized no matter what Hope will always think of her as a selfish child.

Hope grabs her things then walked past Mg and Ethan. "Lets go we shouldn't waist time."

The others look at each other but then agreed. They all start by the cabin since it was by itself which a possibility the cabin and box are related. Hope decided that they should hike with her tracking spell along the woods. They took a lot of supplies in case they need to camp out which was a good idea for them. Lizzie was in the back of everyone rethinking every decision of hers while Hope and Stefanie were walking together up front.

"I am sorry about you fight with Lizzie." Stefanie looks Hope in the eyes and smile Hope smiles right back.

"How did you know we were fighting?"

She shrugged, "Thin walls."

"Oh, well the fight was over you but it wasn't your fault Lizzie lied to me."

Stefanie puts her hand on Hope's arm which gave Hope the chills. "I never meant to cause this destruction between you guys I am sorry but even though Lizzie is my cousin you need someone totally better."

Hope didn't know what to say but felt admiration for her. "Thanks but I love Lizzie and really I don't think I can find anyone else better."

Stefanie looks away and they walked in silence for the rest of the way. Cleo started to get tired they were 10 miles in so they decided to stop and rest for a little bit.

Cleo slides down a tree Hope hands her a water bottle. "Here take looks like you need it. "

Hope noticed Lizzie sitting alone by tree which made Hope be filled with rack of guilt. She walked over with a water and a blood bag.

"I don't know which one you want so I brought you both."

Lizzie looks up with a faint smile then grabs the water. Hope sits down next to Lizzie which leaves her surprised.

"I wanted to say I am sorry for arguing but I just wanted to know why you lied for."

Lizzie scoffs "I don't want to hear you talk about Stefanie not with me."

Hope was baffled she tried to take Lizzie's hand but she pulled away. "Why?"

"Because I know you have feelings for Stefanie."
