As the Music Waves
The music smooths as partners draw close
Oh but how they swing as the waves crash
The smiles and innocent passion
So rampant in their youthful joy
What could cause an event to rise in fervour?
Not but the shifting of waves rising and falling
As their being rolls and slides across the floor
Speeding and slowing as the music guides
Romantic ease navigating an un-set course
No only their bodies know what might follow
Each step brings meaning to their bodies
How gentle the lead and trusting the follow
Discoveries nightly despite years of dedication
No judgement to the student
Only warm welcoming and a soft touch
The touch screaming comfort and freedom
