Strange thoughts

The train was arriving at the station. Crazy, because we were on the train all day, we bounded off of the train like what you think idiots would be. I ran over George, who tripped on Fred. We all came down at once, laughing the whole way.

"Ya better get up now, lads. This place can get to being crazy," a, huge, and I mean big, person came walking over.

"Sorry 'bout my manners, I'm Hagrid, Hogwarts gamekeeper."

"The Weasely triplets," I say, standing up, "sorry for my brothers disturbance."

"Ha, like you weren't part of it," I hear someone mumble under his breath.

"Well, let's be going now. First years! First years!" Hagrid shouted.

We walked along, following Hagrid down the road. I saw odd looking black horses walk with a carriage behind it, carrying older years.

"Hagrid?" I ask.

"What do you need?" He replied.

"What are those black horse-things pulling the carriages?"

A look of shock came over Hagrid's face. "Those are thestral's." He said slowly and carefully, "you only can see them if someone has died."

I looked up, a questioning look on my face. I never seen anyone die! At least I don't think so...

"Weeeee!!" A yell came from behind me.

Fred and George were acting like idiots, but the best kind. They were running down the hill to the boats, dodging and jumping everywhere.

"Bye!" I say to Hagrid, as I start running.

We ran as fast as we could, but my mind was on something else. Who did I see die? Why did I see someone die? Did I actually kill the person?

Fight. Win. Serve.

That was weird? Why did I think those? Thoughts buzzed through my head as we sat down in a boat. It started moving, and I looked up.

Over top of a bridge was the most magnificent sight I've ever seen. A castle seemed to glow in the twilight. I gaped at the height of the castle, and how we were supposed to know the place.

Fred stood up, "No!" I called, but it was to late.

The boat tipped over, and I was thrown into the black waters of the lake. Luckily, I was a good swimmer, and I treaded water. I flipped the boat back over, and grabbed the closest boy to me.

"Up and over," I grunt, hauling George into the boat, going after Fred next.

Fred was heavier. What has he been eating? But we were all in the boat, alive, sopping wet.

"Why did you stand up?" I grumble.

"Why are you mad?" He strikes back, "you have to admit, that was fun."

"Ok, you win, but you're getting fat." I remark.

Fred had a taken aback look, and George was sniggering beside him. I had to smile. There was no other choice. It was too funny! If you look at us, Fred was the wettest. (He deserved it.) He was completely dunked. George and my faces were completely fine, while Fred's hair was airburn from the water.

People were staring at us, some pointing, some whispering. Lee Jordan, with a smile on his face, waved. We, all in unison, waved our best wave, stood up, and bowed, not thinking. The boat flipped again, and a moment after we crash-landed into the cold water, I felt tentacles wrap around my waist!

I could tell Fred and George got the same feeling. We all had faces of shock and surprise. The whatever-it-was flipped our boat back over, and placed us inside it. I looked into the murky waters, and waved a thank you to the giant squid.

"What was that?" George asked from behind me.

"A giant squid," I say matter-of-factly.

I listened to my surroundings. From behind the laughing, even farther then the waves of the lake on the shore, I heard many new creatures I never heard of. I heard the clop of a hoofbeat. I can hear the sound of talking, followed by the swish of a arrow, and a thunk, indicating it met it's mark.

Why do I have these powers? Their so different from other people. I can hear more, smell more, and see more. It's all so confusing!

I listen back in to the talk going on in the boat. I don't feel very well, my brain feels like it is going numb, like I can't use part of it. But it hurts. It hurts bad. Real bad. Then I get this strange urge. I want to hold a bow in my hand. I want to fight.....

I feel I am completely back. I look over, and Fred and George were holding my hands. They immediately let go.

"Are you okay?" They asked, "your eyes rolled back into your head!"

I gave a questioning stare. I thought I saw them the whole time! Did my foster parents poison me? 'Cause I know it's not a curse. That's just fact.

But, I'm not sure if my life is fact based anymore.

.....I want to kill.
