I woke up inside the castle walls, in a bed. I get ready to jump up, but my head feels funny, "Where am I?" I moan.

"In a magical faraway land, where e-"

"Okay. I get it. You hate me, so screw off," I say to the voice.

"No, I can't. My-you--stars---food----houses--•" I drift off.

I wake up. Two random boys were sitting at the end of what would be a hospital bed. They were red-haired twins, and were smiling at me.

"I told you she was fine," one said.

"Let's make sure. Avery, are you okay," the second one states, not like a question.

"Who the heck is Avery?" I sneer.

They gave me a questioning stare, "You, who else?"

"I don't know, not me for sure," I retort.

"I think she has a little amnesia," the first one whispers, "cool."

The second one called, "Madame Pomfrey! We think she has a little amnesia!"

A older looking lady came out a few seconds later, most likely a nurse in her outfit, holding a bright orange liquid in a glass.

"This will taste fine, all you have to do is drink it, then you can go to the great hall to be sorted," she turned to the twins, "and you watch for her, the results aren't immediate."

The lady leaves the room, "Go on, drink it!" The boys encourage me.

I grab the glass. If it's poison, it's better dead than not knowing who you are, some days. So I chugged it. The taste was amazing. It tasted like warm, fresh, brownies. I smile as a memory of savouring a brownie comes into my mind. I was sharing it with people, and we were all laughing. I heard someone in the background say troublesome triplets. I smiled bigger, then jumped into my brothers arms in a great big hug. They returned it.

"George was scared he lost you," Fred said.

"I'm scared I lost myself," I reply, "just never leave, Fred. Never leave, George."

"We,"

"Will,"

"Definitely,"

"Leave,"

"NO." I yell, "my memory is still partly gone. I don't know what happened before I ate a brownie at the Burrow, but it's coming to me slowly."

"Good, but we still have to get sorted! Let's go!" We whizzed past Madame Pomfrey, a look of disgust on her face as we run down the hall.

"Oh yeah, I do like brownies!" George exclaimed.

"Idiot," I whisper.

"The best kind," he comes back.

I roll my eyes as we enter the great hall.

"Weasely, Avery!" a voice called out.

We made it just in time. I ran up and plopped on my chair, not caring what people think of me. Percy gave me a dirty look. I smiled back at him, and Charlie burst out laughing. The hat that was placed on me started to speak.

"Ahhh, mmm, oh yes. you are a tricky one. I could put you in Ravenclaw, very smart. But Slytherin is more your type. But then you would be most likely separate from your family," the hat talked away.

Finally, after what seemed like forever, he screamed, "GRIFFINDOR!"

I skipped over to the Gryffindor table, and sat down right beside Charlie, "Are you happy?" I ask.

"Joyful, actually. You'll like it there," he replies.

I sit down and smile. Fred and George were a different case, though. You could see from the table they were scared. I smiled, "Look at them!" I exclaim, "Their scared silly!"

Even Percy had to laugh at that, "Weasely, Fred!" the professor called.

Fred walked up to the chair and nervously sat down. you can see sweat beads forming on his head.

"GRYFFINDOR!" the hat called out.

His face cleared up, and he walked to the table like nothing happened. But something did happen.

"Scared, Fred?" I ask.

"No," he blushes.

I grin bigger, and Charlie starts sniggering. Fred turned 50 shades redder, if it was possible.

We weren't watching, but we could here the hat call 'GRYFFINDOR!' And we all cheered. But George sat down, his face was still red. I howled with laughter. The Weasely family, and Lee joined in. The whole school was watching. I look up at Dumbledore was smiling. I laughed harder. My sides started to hurt. If you put the boy's faces together, they would be redder than our hair. It was funny.

Dumbledore stood up, prepared to speak, "I wish everyone a well year, and our custodian Mr. Filch would like to remind you the Dark Forest is off limits. Before we begin our meal, let us sing the school song. Everyone get your favourite tune ready! One two, one two,"

The school went up in chaotic music. We sung,

"Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggy Warty Hogwarts,

Teach us something please,

Whether we be old and bald,

Or young with scabby knees,

Our heads could do with filling,

With some interesting stuff,

For now they're bare and full of air,

Dead flies and bits of fluff,

So teach us things worth knowing,

Bring back what we've forgot,

Just do your best, we'll do the rest,

And learn until our brains all rot."

To the wheels on the bus.

Then the plates filled. It was amazing, seeing all of the food magically appear. Charlie looked at me with a smile on his face. I dove in. Even Fred and George started eating. The food is delicious, and I love it. I savoured every bite of it.

I could really tell this is going to be a good year.
