Chapter 3

Lunch had been excruciatingly adorable. Harry kept telling me all these stupid useless facts about biology and science that I would never need to know. he kept fixing his glasses, snorting every time I asked him to explain something. he made me feel a bit stupid, but at the same time his intelligence turned me on. When the speaker said that dinner was over, I sighed.

"Well, nice to meet you Haz." He frowned. "Don't you want to spend more time with me?" The way his eyebrows furrowed together was very seductive.

As if you have a chance.

I knew that he was straight. He had mentioned how girls at school thought he was too dorky to date, which I could see. If I had known him in school, he would have been one of the kids who stood in the background and just watched when people bullied me. I smiled.

"Sure Haz! What are we going to do? It's only my first day y'know..." I said, and he smiled. "Let's go to the garden!" He exclaimed.

"There is a garden?" I asked, my voice raising slightly in pitch. He nodded quickly, his curls bobbing around his face. His hair was curled so messily but it worked perfectly for him. "Well..I like flowers I guess." He looked at me, and gave me such an innocent smile. My heart raced, and I felt like the smile was just for me. My Haz. My Haz's smile. I thought that 'Harold' was long gone.

He led me outside, us having to stop twice for security checks before they led us outside to an enclosed garden with metal walls that couldn't be escaped. The walls made the place seem smaller, which instantly made me a bit claustrophobic.

"Haz...Maybe we should.." I turned to look at him, and he was holding a flower out, smiling at me. "For my beautiful Louis!" His cheeks were tinted a pale shade of pink and his dimples were showing.

"No one has ever given me a half-dead dandelion before!" I exclaimed, blushing as well as I took the flower and smelled it. He smiled at me for another minute or so before he sat on the ground. I now knew he was really tall, but when he sat down it was as if he became invisible. I was slightly jealous, wishing I could be so un-noticeable like him.

Of course you're noticeable, you're so flamboyant. Why don't you just fuck him then kill him?

"Shut up!" I yelled, covering my ears with my hands and scrunching my face as if I was in pain. I was panicking, going into a sort of emotional state, but when I felt Haz's hand grab my pant leg, I opened one eye to look down at his innocent face.

"Sit down Lou-bear!" He hadn't judged me. He hadn't even questioned me. He acted as if it was perfectly fine for me to be who I was.

I bent down, sitting next to him and hugging him. "Thank you Haz!" I set the flower down gently and he smiled at me again. His smile was so perfect. His lips looked kissable.

"Have you never kissed a girl then?" I blurted and he nodded, looking down and fixing his glasses.

"Girls don't like me. Not that I like them either..." I was about to ask him what he meant, but I really didn't want to bother him about it. If he was gay, no big deal. If he wasn't, he would probably be freaked out that I asked him.
