Butterflies fluttered in my stomach as I drove up to this super fancy restaurant called Rousseau's, that my sister told me to go. My sister had this habit of setting me up on blind dates because she thinks I work too much. How could I be the most revered dancer in the world if I didn't work hard? I thank the valet driver who nicely helped me out the car with a small smile. As I walked to the front door, I pulled out my phone to text my sister. 'I'm here. What's the reservation under?'

'Elijah for 2. At 8:30.'

'Elijah..' I thought to myself. 'He sounds pretty. Hopefully his face matches his name.' I checked the time on my watch and realized I was at least five minutes early. I walked up to the hostess stand to see a host who couldn't be bothered to even look up from her screen. "Hello how may I help you today?" She said in a bored tone. "Reservation for Elijah for 2? At 8:30."

The sound of my voice made them snapped her head up at me in surprise. "Omg your Phoenix Moore!" They whisper shouted. I smiled politely as I loved meeting fans but today is not the day for a mob. "I know you're here for a reservation but I just wanted to tell you, I love your dancing. I'm thinking about signing up for one of your classes."

"Thank you so much and yes you should. I would love to see you dance."

"Let me show you to your table. Elijah is already here and waiting for you."

They walked me to secluded area where no one can see us but we can see everyone else. As we got closer to the table, I saw a man sitting at the table with flowers laying on it. I couldn't see his face just yet but I can tell by his suit and watch that he is very successful in whatever business he's in. Hair styled perfectly and clean shaven. My sister have nice taste.

"Excuse me, Elijah?"

He turned his head to look at us and I swear my heart jumped out of my chest. He stood up with a charming smile and flowers in hand but I couldn't stop staring into his eyes. Those enchanting brown eyes. When I looked into them, it was like swimming in honey. "Hello there." His accented voice brought me out of La-la Land.

"Hi! I'm-"

"Phoenix Moore.." he interrupted. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to interrupt, it's just I have heard all about you from your sister."

"Weird.." I laughed. "I haven't heard anything about you from her." He chuckles. "Yes that's my fault. I wanted you hear about me from me instead of other people." He held the flowers out to me and I noticed they're my favorite flowers. "Red tiger lilies with white roses." He said putting a smile on my face. He moved to pull my chair out and I thanked him as I sat down.

"Well Elijah, since you know so much about me. It's only valid that I should know a little bit about you." He smiled. "Well, what would you like to know?"

"First, how do you know my sister?"

"Well she is the personal assistant to my brother Kol." She would set me up with her boss's brother. "Of course. So it is my understanding that Kol is in the entertainment industry such as myself. What is it that you do?"

Before he can answer our waiter came to the table, placing menus on the table. "Hello and welcome to Rousseau's." He said with a cheery tone. He glanced towards Elijah with wide eyes and stood a bit straighter. "Mr.Mikaelson hello sir."

"Oh please Joshua, call me Elijah." Joshua visibly relaxed as he heard Elijah's cool tone.  "Well is there anything I could get you guys to drink?" Elijah motioned me to order first. "A water with lemon for now please."

"Same as the lady." Joshua nods his head and then walks off. "I'm guessing by the way he called you 'Mr.Mikaelson' that you own this beautiful establishment." He smirks. "Why yes I do. I always had a love for food and so I traveled to mostly every country in the world to learn recipes from the best." The smile on his face when speaking about his restaurant was so contagious, that a smile couldn't help but form on my face.
