A couple of months back I finally turned 18 and I thought that this was my big break but unfortunately I'm still in matric which is my senior year and it is Thursday as it read on the calendar guessing as I saw that it was the 30th of May, "lucky fucking me". I woke up today and did my daily old boring routine and here I am at school waiting for the bell to ring as we have to go to the quad after it rings. I check the time on my phone to see what time it is and it is 10 past 7 in the morning and Adrian is not here yet.

Today is one of the hottest days there is; it's like "50 degrees Celsius out" and guess what I am wearing, a fucking matric jacket just because I had to hide this stupid tattoo that is on my arm. Literally 2 minutes later my male best friend walks through the gate and his up the stairs and hugging me as a sign of saying "sorry I am kind of late".

The bell rings at quarter past 7 and now we have to head to the quad. I am just lucky that today I do not have to read the morning announcements and all because it gets old with time. As a leader especially a deputy head girl there is a lot that is expected from you. Yes yes I was not expecting to become head girl because I have a lot on my plate as it is.

Sharon starts with the morning prayer and gives Anderson the mic to announce the announcements for the day. The next thing I know I was not feeling well and for me that was odd cause I barely get sick but here I was. I was starting to heat up then the next thing I was on the floor passed out and Abbie followed next.

After being carried and placed in the shade plus being woken up and my jacket taken off; damn! I had to walk a long walk of shame not freedom but shame to the principal's office with Abbie. I mean Abbie of all people and don't get me wrong even though I might be the deputy head girl, the principal isn't one of my favorite people c'mon people it is Whittier for goodness sakes.

I enter Whittiers office with my squad and Abbie with her 2 friends? And that was an image I was shocked to see because it had me questioning if they are truly her friends but anyway yeah with her 2 friends. We both took a seat in front of Whittier and we were greeted by him and we greeted him back. Whittier then tried to chase everyone out to keep only I and Abbie in the office but I disagreed with him.

He allowed everyone to stay but the next thing he said came as a bombshell to all of us literally. "Did you know that every year I conduct a list which predicts which 10 girls in the school are more likely to wound up pregnant and to my surprise both of you are on the list" Whittier said with a crooked smirk on his face. Abbie and I including everyone else were shocked at the revelation that we were all speechless.

"And girls should I call your parents?" he asked still keeping his crooked smile arched on his face and obviously knowing us we declined but he had already called them that stupid fuck I kept cussing at him in my mind obviously. It was just a courtesy for him to even ask us about calling them. 2 minutes later my mom and dad walk through the door and obviously knowing my squad they all walked out but unfortunately Abbie's parents couldn't even try to make it, "like seriously what kind of parents are they anyway?" I sarcastically ask the question in my mind as if she could hear me.
