As we got back home i went straight to my room, opened the door and locked it. I went straight into the bathroom and took a quick shower to freshen up afterwards I heard a knock at the door, another knock and another one. "Lyn can you please open up?" Adrian asked. And I gifted him with no answer . I was not in the mood to talk to him or anyone else, like I said one thing at a time.

As I finally got dressed up and prepped i went for my phone as i received a couple of messages and notifications. One new message from Aaron;). And as I checked the message it read Hey baby I'm by the gate waiting on you, i thought that maybe we should eat out today but I will hear from you and I love you. XXX after reading the text message i unlocked my door to find Adrian waiting on the other side. "Baby_" he said and interrupted him "Uhm look Aaron is here so let me go talk with him so if you'll excuse me." I said as i headed down stairs

CHAPTER 18:

When I got downstairs and went straight into the lounge i saw him already seated on the couch. "Hey baby." He said smiling. "Hey." I said back. "So how are you and how's the arm? Actually how's everything and you don't mind going to dinner right?" He asked and with that i just smiled at him "uhm l can't do dinner i have a pep rally to go too, uhm everything has been quite hectic hence why we gotta talk ohh and my arm is actually feeling a bit better thanks for asking and truthfully I'm alright but all in all how are you?" I asked him smiling genuinely.

"Ugh enough about me here baby you know how I've been it's just been the usual nothing different of any sorts, but since you brought it up yeah you did say that we had to talk but before that I'm sorry for not reaching out more often and maybe we can do dinner another time and that's a first I can't believe that this year you are actually going to the pep rally." He said in shock. But before we actually started dating Aaron and I were friends for a good 4 years before we started dating.

"Uhm besides everything going on can we get on with the talk. Uhm... I just dont mean to rush the conversation but this is important." I said. "Ohh okay this sounds serious. What's wrong? Is it something that I have to be worried about?" He said as he moved closer to me and with that I moved a bit away from him to create space between us knowing very well how Aaron can get.

"Aaron look you know that I love you right?" I started off. "Uh yeah and you know that I love you too but why do I feel like there's more that you are trying to say though?" He asked concern lacing his face. "Look Aaron," I said to him, "I feel like ever since this whole situation happened our relationship has just been pulled in two different directions and to be honest I feel like it were best for the both of us to be friends, and yes I don't want to blame this situation but I just don't feel "in love" with you as I were maybe it was infatuation by being loved by you but I feel like the only genuine thing was our friendship." I said too him.

"Hmm infatuation you say?!" He said as anger started too brew in him. "Are you fucking kidding me Evelyn! I fucking love you and you call it infatuation?! You something else do you know that! Or wait is it someone else?! Hmm?? Ohhh wait!!!!" He said as he started laughing and pointing towards the stairs, "is it him?! Are you in love with him! Is this about your "fucking best friend" Adrian! Answer me Evelyn!" He said as anger was evident on him.

And as I looked towards the stairs I noticed Adrian coming my way to try to protect me but I could handle this situation all good on my own. I held up my hand towards him to try to stop him from coming any further and he stopped in his tracks. "Look first off you won't speak to me like that I ain't a slut." I deadpanned keeping my cool. "I will speak to you howe_" he started to say. "Uhh no you won't now stop!" I yelled back at him.

"Aaron just stop, please. I get that you are angry and yes I'm breaking up with you but it's for me not anyone else." I said whilst taking a quick glance Adrian's way. "First off my best friend has nothing to do with this, and I can't be with you because I think it's best for me to end the relationship and not string it along anymore. Since everything happened I'm exhausted. And also I can't deal with everything alone and also I think it's time I just don't involve you in my drama anymore before you get killed. And I don't want your blood on my hands." I said trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to come out.

"Look I understand all of that but does everything have to be at the cost of our relationship or better yet our friendship though Evie?" He stated. "No it doesn't but_" and as I was about to continue Adrian decided to interrupt.

"Well it actually does. Now look Aaron thanks for the visit now can you get the fuck out of my house!." He said. "Adrian!" I said. "Man I ain't going anywhere until I've had my full conversation with Evie!" Aaron said back to Adrian. "Look both of you Adrian thanks for your 2 cents but it's not needed and also Aaron I'm sorry that it has come to this but can we just be friends please?" I pleaded with him.

"I can never be friends with someone I consider more than a friend too me ever." And with that he kissed my forehead and left and that's when I realized that I was crying when I felt a tear droplet hit my arm. Adrian came beside me and pulled me in for a tight hug and with that I broke out in full tears.

After a while of crying, I managed too calm down and went straight upstairs leaving Adrian behind. As I got into my room I left the door unlocked and went straight into the bathroom to freshen up. As I finished freshening up and got out of the bathroom I found Adrian laying on my bed and I went to lay next too him.

"Are you alright?" He asked me looking genuinely concerned. "Yeah I think I'm fine and plus I'll survive so don't worry." I said back to him with a light smile on my face. "Okay but like are you sure though?" He asked me. "Mmm-hmmm I'm good Addy Daisyy." I said whilst trying my hardest to not laugh. "Okay now that's not funny at all Evie." He said trying his hardest not to laugh when I scrunched up my face.

"Don't call me Evie." I said "and don't call me Addy Daisy, Addy is one thing but adding Daisy is another you making me sound like a pussy." He said and after that I laughed at him. "Ugh indeed it does make you sound like a pussy and speaking of pussy what was up with that text you sent me in class?" I asked him.

"Uhh that." He said back pretending like he was daydreaming. "The good old texts. But before I talk about the text how about you explain to me on how the fuck you are going to the pep rally when you know that this is our annual training camp week for the families heirs?" He questioned me. "Well with that you know how Whittier can be or even get. He told me that it's compulsory and that it is my duty to make sure that the team is motivated and inspired to push further and mind you I've never been to any pep rally but no apparently since I haven't been going to them our team moral has been low." I said too him whilst trying my hardest to not roll my eyes.

"Okay baby but you know what forget about the pep rally." He said. "But Adrian Whittier?" I said shocked at what he had suggested. "What about him Lyn?" He questioned back. " I can't just decide to not go to the pep rally and remember we are the seniors at the school Addy." I said to him. " And so what if we are the seniors? " He questioned. " Look Lyn you know what let me just do this." He said as he went for his phone and did a group call.

A/N: Interesting chapter indeed, A break up, and all the drama. But do you guys really think that the Aaron and Evelyn chapter is really closed? In my own opinion I doubt it but we shall see in future chapters. And also I hope that you guys enjoy this chapter as much as I did. Love y'all.
