"okay, were here." Chan said as he parked the car.

Hyunjin still thought Felix was sleeping, because he had his eyes closed.
Hyunjin gently brushed Felix's hair away from his face.

"hey. Felix."

Felix pretended to wake up, fluttering his eyes.

"were at the motel."

"oh." Felix slowly got up.

it had stopped raining.
the guys were walking over the wet parking lot with their bags.

"Sir, could I have my own room this time?" Felix asked.

"if they have space, then of course. why?"
Hyunjin replied.

"no reason. I just need some time alone."

Hyunjin wasn't sure if Felix was in a state where he could be left alone, but when he looked at Felix,
he looked so pitiable that Hyunjin didn't know how he could say no.

"I get it."

they got to the receptionist, and Hyunjin asked for three rooms. they luckily had space.

"here." Hyunjin handed the keys to Chan and Felix. they walked over to their rooms that were next to each other.
five, six and seven.

Chan walked over to number five.
"good night sir, Felix."

"good night."

"good night."

Felix had the key to room seven, and he was just about to insert it to the lock when he felt Hyunjin grab his hoodie's sleeve.

"hey..." Hyunjin said.

they looked at each other.

"what?"

"...promise me you'll be okay."

"why?"

"just promise."

Felix looked away.

"I'm sorry, but I just...
I think we've gotten too-
please remember I'm just your guard. stop caring so much.
and I'm fine."

Felix's words hit Hyunjin like a brick.

"...what?" Hyunjin couldn't hide the fact that he was hurt.

"I'm fine, sir." he said opening his door.

"but-"

"good night."
Felix closed his door behind him, leaving Hyunjin standing alone, staring at the closed door.

Hyunjin had a bad feeling about Felix.
why would he say that? it must be because of Minho. he's just upset.

He went to his own room and decided to shower. He heard a thump, and guessed Chan dropped something in his apartment. Apparently the walls were thin.

Felix felt terrible.

Everything was his fault.
Minho died because Felix wasn't there. If he hadn't left, if he wasn't such a coward, the Yangs would've found him instead of Minho. he'd still be alive. he'd still be there for Jisung.
Jisung... Felix felt bad for him more than anyone.

Him and Minho, they were soulmates. Felix couldn't even imagine Jisung's reaction.
Every time those two looked at each other, their eyes, they were full of magic. they looked so in love that Felix felt jealous.
Jisung lost his other half.
and it was Felix's fault.
