01. birthday cake
happy birthday jay! are you doing well? it's been six months since we met at the amusement park, hehe :) since it's your birthday today, i baked you a cake. i never had the chance to ask you if you liked strawberries, so i just baked a strawberry cake for you. i baked the cake with my grandpa, so i really hope you'll like it.
i went to the market with grandpa today. i helped him push his wheelchair! the aunties there said i was pretty, but i don't exactly see it. maybe i'll be prettier when i grow up. speaking of growing up, what do you wanna be when you grow up, jay?
i wanna be a superstar! i'll sing on stage and dance all i want, it sounds super fun. i watched girls generation's music videos last night and fell asleep before 12am, so i couldn't wish you a happy birthday :( anyways, i'm going to your house right now!
grandpa and i are almost there, heh. grandpa has the strawberry cake in his lap! he's taking good care of it. it's kinda hard to write to you while i push grandpa's wheelchair, but i can manage!

all of the effort i put into baking that cake for you, all of the effort i put into making sure you'd have a good birthday, they went to waste. grandpa ate the cake, he said that it's good. my parents are abroad, so i'm alone with grandpa.
i have to buy his medicine for him and take him to the hospital to check on his heart. normally, you're here so you can bring me to the hospital, but now you aren't. you're selfish, jay. you couldn't even at least tell me you were leaving?
