Devan
Waking up with Anya in my arms threw me. It made me think I was dreaming for the longest time. I've had these dreams before and in them, she stays asleep the whole time, just laying in my arms peacefully.
So when she looked up at me and flicked me on the nose to wake me up I knew it wasn't a dream. Last night came flooding back to me and my arms automatically tighten around her.
"I'm not going anywhere Devan, there's no need to squeeze me to death." She grumbles and I open my eyes to see her beautiful big green eyes looking up at me mischievously.
I stroke the hair off her face and lean in to kiss her, pulling her on top of me. Just as things get interesting my cell rings, drawing us out of our own little world.
"Ignore it." I say to her, and she does, leaning back in to me.
A banging at the door startles us both and we look at it, almost expecting it to swing open. Anya moves to get up but I tighten my grip on her thighs, preventing her from moving. She looks back at me and smiles, leaning in to give me a quick peck on the lips before wriggling off the bed. She wraps a robe around her and heads to the door, opening it slowly.
"Dammit Blake, where have you been? I've been calling you all night!" It's Jason.
"Sorry, I'm not sure where my phone is." Anya sounds tired and it makes her voice sound sexy.
"Well where have you been? I didn't see you again after you left the lobby. Are you okay?" He sounds concerned and I'm an equal mix between grateful that he worries for her and pissed that he thinks she would not be okay with me.
"I'm fine, Jase, really. I just got....caught up." I can hear the smirk in her voice and I smile with her.
"Well we've got to talk Blake."
"Jase, hold on."
Before I know it Jason is in front of me, eyes wide open in shock, and Anya appears behind him, pink tinting her cheeks.
"I did tell you to hold on." Anya mumbles sarcastically and Jase shoots her a look.
"Well, happy to see you two made up. That means you're staying then?" He looks at her and she shrugs.
"She's staying." I say and he looks over to me.
"Last time I saw you naked you were about five Devan. It was much less awkward then." He looks uncomfortable and I laugh.
"I'm not naked. Well, I am but I'm covered..."
"Okay, enough!" Anya interrupts and Jason and I laugh. "Will you please leave?" She looks at Jason and he nods.
"Sure, but get ready. Ian's having a BBQ and it starts in an hour. He wants you there. Both of you I would imagine." He tacks on the end, looking at me.
"We'll be there." I answer but Anya looks panicked.
Jason says his goodbyes and leaves the room quickly. I jump up and pull Anya into my arms, kissing her.
"Don't worry about anything. You're staying and you can stay with us for now."
"For now?" Watch your words Devan, I mentally scold myself when she looks anxious.
"Yes, for now. Until we find a place of our own."
"O-our own?" She chokes on the words and I smile.
"Yes, our own. You don't fancy living with my parents forever do you?" I laugh and she looks up at me, apprehensive. "Anya, baby, I told you, I'm not letting you go again."
