Cara

Eddie and the rest of corroded coffin had to go to California to meet the label, sign paperwork. So a few days later at the crack of dawn I drove them to the airport. My knee shaking with nerves until Eddie leaned over putting his hand on my knee. We were still waiting for them to board the plain.
"I'll only be gone a week." He said giving my knee a squeeze. Shifting Will to my other side and leaning into Eddie's side, I sighed.

"I'll look for a place when I'm there And when I get back, we'll pack up and start making our way to California." He said rubbing my shoulder. Leaning out of my arms will crawled off my lap on to Eddie's. Untangling him self from me so he could hold on to Will so he wouldn't fall.

"It's going to be pretty interesting. Drive cross the country with a baby." I said with a laugh, Eddie's eyes widening a bit.

"Yea that's probably the scariest part of all this." He joked, trying to avoid Will's chubby hands trying to pull his hair.

"I'm hoping he will sleep most of the way." At that moment the called boarding for there flight.
Each of the boys gave me a hug and rubbing will on the head, saying a quick goodbye.

"See you guys when I get out there." Squeezing Gareth. They boys were all packed up and were staying in California, while Eddie was coming home and driving with us once we were all packed up.

Pulling me into a hug and kissing the top of Will's head, Eddie reminded me it was only a week and then He'll be back.
"Can you go over to the trailer and pack up the rest of my stuff. If you got time. I got most of packed." He asked and I nodded.
"I love you." Lifting my chin to kiss me.
"I love you too."

Staying until the plane took off, will waving and babbling. Afterwards stopping by the trailer. Knocking instead of using the keys Eddie left with me, Wayne opened the door. I had met Wayne only twice before but when he sees me and will he broke out into a smile.

"Well hey there! How's my favorite little guy. Missing Eddie so much already you have to come visit uncle Wayne!" He joked stepping aside to let you in.

"Eddie asked if we could finish packing up his stuff. And I figured I have free time now, Finish his stuff then start working on mind."

"Good plan. I have to leave for work here in bit. But Help your self." Thanking him and walking to Eddie's room. Looking around there were half packed boxes. Setting Will down on the bed and handing him the keys to play with you got to work. Pulling all the clothes out of the drawers and putting them in one box, and taking another box and starting on all his tapes, and vinyls.

Hearing a squeal of joy I turned around to see all the clothes I had just packed away pulled back out and all over the bed. Will was chewing a metallic shirt with the biggest smile. Looking around and finding a camera you snapped a picture, before folding the clothes back up and packing them away this time adding tape to the top.

Eddie

Touching down in California was surreal, even more so when the label had cars waiting to take us to our hotel. I thought that was something that only happened in the movies. But seeing the sign that said corroded coffin, it still didn't feel real. And it still didn't feel real when our first meeting happened.

When The future plan they for corroded coffin explained, consisted of laying down a record with in six months of coming to California, booking some gigs at local hot spots while waiting for the record to drop, once the record drops, pair us up with a bigger named band that's going in tour and be their opening act.

This next year was definitely going to be a whirlwind. But luckily the representatives from the label were willing to do anything to keep us happy. And that included helping us find apartments. The guys were going to share one and another for me, cara and will.

Another meeting was scheduled in two days to sign all the final paper work and after that I was free to head home. But I was going to take those two days to get a few things checked off my personal to do list. The first was getting cara a proper ring. If I wanted her to leave her life and come with me to California I wanted to do this the right way.

So taking part of my signing bonus I headed to jewelry store. Having no clue what I was doing was an understatement. Even taking Gareth with me wasn't helpful. After an hour of looking at rings we gave up.

Walking back to the hotel Gareth had an idea to go to a pawn shop we were passing to see what they had. I wanted to get her a fancy ring but I knew she would much rather save the money and get something sensible, and it was more my style then those fancy stores. Heading in it was only ten minutes before I found the one I knew she would love and i would be happy to give to her. They guy said it was a sideways marquis cut. To me it just reminded me of the eye of Sauron. It was the only ring I could picture on her hand.
