The sun was high in the sky with the occasional white clouds scattered about the bright blue, quite the contrast to the grey stormy skies only a few hours ago. The ship was now still against one of the docks at dolle harbor and you made your way off the ship with Leorio and Kurapika.

The first thing you were met with was the buzzing chatter of all the citizens walking about. They were everywhere, wearing bright colors that matched their busy surroundings.

You, Leorio, and Kurapika stand just taking in the new setting, while behind you, Gon is saying his final goodbyes to the captain. When he finishes up and rushes towards the three of you, you all walk towards a large map of the city.

"The captain told me that we should head to cedar tree at the top of the hill. He says its a shortcut to the exam site!" Gon says, pointing in the direction of the tree.

"Huh, that's odd" Leorio says pulling a letter out of his pockets.

"What is?" Gon asks, turning to look at him. You and Kurapika turn to the two of them as well.

"According to the letter of notice we received, the exam site is supposed to be somewhere in Zaban City," Leorio explains, holding out the letter for you to see. Next he pointed to a spot on the map. "Now see we' re here, and the cedar tree is there, which is the opposite direction of Zaban" he says, moving his finger around the map.

"Maybe you didn't hear the captain correctly," you suggest, looking at Gon.

"Yeah, that could be a possibility" Kurapika agrees also looking to gon to see what he thinks.

"I don't think so, I'm sure he told me to go towards the cedar tree!" Gon says, looking at the tree on the map again. You decided to believe Gon, he had proved he had great senses while you were on the boat so if he says that he heard him right then he most likely did.

"This stupid is letter isn't any help at all!" Leorio grumbles, scratching the back of his head. "It says the exam is somewhere in zaban city but it doesn't say where exactly!"

"Searching for the venue based on the limited information in the letter, I suppose that's a prerequisite for the hunter exam," Kurapika says, thinking out loud.

"I already knew that you smartass! Give it a rest" Leorio yells, getting set off on another angry rant.

"I think I'll go check it out for myself, I'm sure there's a hidden lead somewhere" Gon says, as he starts to walk away in the direction of the tree.
