Hi friends!
Here is the next update of M4. Sorry for the delay. My Ammi was sick. But she is recovering now. Finally, I found the time to draft my story. Read and review.

Arnav POV

"I am going through a roller coaster of emotion right now. Anger. Shock. Guilt. Happiness."

Anger for Khushi's stupid assumption. Shocked for finding Khushi near me. Guilt for making false accusations. And most importantly happiness.

The reason for my happiness is Khushi's hands that are wrapped around my elbow. She dragged me away from our audience. Well, thank god for that. I could see all of them enjoying the momos ordered by my wife. She is something. We came to a halt when she was sure that no one could hear us.

"Mere Mafiaji ab batayein ki problem kya hai."
(My Mafiaji please tell me what's the problem?)

"It's nothing."

I tried to avoid this discussion but she kept pushing me. I know there is no point in hiding my thoughts from her. So I vented out my feelings in a weird way.

"You did not answer my calls so mujhe fikar horhi thi. Then I thought you betrayed me like the Guptas... Rajeev bhi gayab tha...and the CCTV had some issues."
(...so initially, I was scared. Rajeev was absent as well..)

She left my hand instantly. Damn. I felt the absence of her warmth immediately. Oh no. I hope she is not upset with me. Taking two steps away from me my wife pulled out a piece of paper from her pocket. What is that? Unfolding the sheet she flashed it near my face. What the? Is that a copy of our marriage certificate?! Woahhhh!

"Ek hum hai jo yeh pocket mein leke ghumte hain. Sab ko dikhate phirte hain. Aur ek hain aap, humaare Sherlock Singh Raizada. Phone  lecture ke time silent kia tha shayad general krna bhool gaye."
(The good old me loves to carry this piece in my pocket. To show off our relationship. And then there is you, my Sherlock Singh Raizada. I had to put my phone on silent during classes. Later on, I forgot to switch on my ringer).

"Oh..."

"Aur aapka beta to shaitan hota jaa rha hai. Rajeev ne CCTV pe panja maarke usse hila dia. Isliye usko saath leke gaye taaki aur koi gadbad na kre. Aapke guards to dikhe nahi isliye watchman bhaiyya ke sath aagaye."
(By the way your son is becoming a devil day by day. Rajeev practically clawed the CCTV off the wall. That is why I had no choice but to tag him along. And your guards vanished in thin air so I had to request the watchman to join us).

OH CRAP! Sh*t sh*t. I am the most stupid husband on this earth. She carries these papers everywhere. And here I thought the worst things about her. Of course. The furry creature loves to complicate things for me. What a lunatic. Beta nahi dushman hai mera. She respected my condition and took the watchman along with her. You are the only one who is wrong in this entire scenario Arnav Raizada. So you need to apologize.
(He is my nemesis, not my son).

"I...I...I should have trusted you. I judged you. My insecurities worsened the situation. I admit my wrongdoings. I hope you can let this go...I just...umm..."

Instead of throwing tantrums and creating a big scene for being judged by her husband my wife responded differently. Giggling away she grabbed my hand and turned to walk towards the momos vendor. Her actions confused me.

"Koi baat nai Mafiaji. Bade bade deshon mein aisi choti choti baatein hoti rehti hain."
(No issues Mafiaji. In metropolitan cities such insignificant things happen a lot).

I grinned shaking my head at the SRK dialogue. It reminded me of my childhood. The time when life was not so complicated. Nani and Di had forced me to watch DDLJ with them. And my cousins guffawed throughout the excruciating three hours. My train of thoughts halted when I saw a sudden twinkle in her eye. Knowing that something mischievous was coming my way I prepared myself for her next words.
