Dean POV

I don't remember a lot from that day.

All I remember is John and his men attacking everyone outside, gunshots, and fire.

I don't even remember how the fire started but I remember Anna's screams. She sounded so scared. I tried to help her the second I heard her yell but nobody would let me.

I tried to get to her in time but by the time all of the men on our side got down John's men, it was too late.

The house was blazing and started to fall apart. My first thought was where's Anna? Why hadn't she come out of the house yet?

I ran into the house hearing everyone yell behind me but I didn't care. I had to get Anna.

I screamed her name and during the first 5 seconds of being in there, it was already getting hard to breathe. I tried to hold my breath but that made it worse. My lungs were burning.

Anna.

I went to the living room first, hoping she was there.

I didn't see her at first but I did when I heard her groaning and coughing.

Although it was loud in the house, that was the thing I hear.

I run in her direction and pick her up.

She's bleeding. Why is she bleeding?

I heard her groan again and she moved slightly in my arms, almost like she was trying to get comfortable.

I was whispering to myself but it was just random stuff. It was getting harder to breathe and I could feel the aches getting in my hair. Not my hair.

"Stay with me, baby," I whispered, hoping she'd hear me.

I made it outside with Anna passed out in my arms and everyone quickly went to us. There were sirens.

God, thank you.

I'm really tired. Stay awake for Anna.

I shook my head, putting down Anna first. I laid her in the grass and I felt someone put their arm around me.

Axel.

"Dean, you're okay."

Darkness.

I woke up to a monitor beeping and when I opened my eyes there were at least 6 doctors in the room.

I looked around and saw Axel with Milo in his lap, but they were asleep. That was all there was in the room.

Where's Anna? Where's Ella? Are they okay?

"Oh my God, he's awake." one of the doctors whispered.

"Sir do you know where you are?" another doctor asked, holding a clipboard.
