"Destiny, it's been three weeks since you've been back from the senior trip and we haven't gotten a word out of you," my mom comes into my room. "Shelby or any of the other girls haven't been over either. Did something happen? What's going on?" I simply just said that it was teenager drama and we were all trying to focus on graduating, which I should really get started on my music final. I had told my mom that over the last long weekend break before school gets out, I was going to go to California. She still isn't quite sold on the idea but I told her that it would be a good experience slash trial before graduation and college.
I'm really excited about going to see Oliver. I haven't seen him in person for almost a month now. We've FaceTimed, called, and snapped but it's just different, you know? I get up and get dressed for school.
