Classes start tomorrow.

Already.

The week has passed of endless practicing, hustling through to be fit for the season, grow faster, train to work as a team - Everything to prepare them for this semester.

Their most important season yet.

Jungkook would be exhausted if it wasn't for the fact that he feeds off of practicing. He loves how sore his body gets, the breathlessness after he runs, adrenaline when he kicks the ball and has control over what to do with it when in possession.

He absolutely adores Football.

Players have told him that he's the best player in the team. Others have said he needs to take it easy. But majority tells him he's the star of the team.

And in some way, he is.

His position isn't even as a forward, who has the highest chance to score once anyone passes the ball to them, but it's a winger - starting right but can switch and adjust to any position easily.

It's one of the most tiring and exhausting positions in the team, mainly because a winger has to be in control of either side of the field either in defense or offense. They make sure the ball doesn't leave the field, but let's it if it's by the other team. It's the position where speed and control is everything, where you have to aid the defense if they're overwhelmed by players or be open ahead to receive the ball, being ready to score or pass so the forward can score.

This involves having quick instinct, stamina, and a damn well good kick and passing skills to make a chance for the team to be open.

When Jungkook started playing in high school he was always a center mid field, and depending on the team - either a forward mid or a back mid to stick around with defense and control the center.

Exhausting position too, especially since it could feel like you're running around in circles the whole time. One has to deal with a lot more pressure being around more people while also having quick thinking skills on ball control and making sure no one steals it, but they do have a more breathing chance when the ball is either too ahead or too behind for either forwards or defense to handle it.

Surprisingly, he believes being winger is more of his forte, despite being an expert in any place that the coach decides to put him in. He feels as though he has more space as a winger and has time to think while being able to sneak up behind anyone to be open to pass or score.

Besides, he loves to run as hell, and being a winger gives him that chance to show off his speed.

That's why they refer to him as 'Flash' when he's out there playing, because he's the fastest player in the team.

Real fucking fast.

Maybe it's the training he has had while growing up playing any position in football, or maybe it being just a gift.

Or his love to run.

Probably all of it combined.

Making it his team's greatest secret weapon.

Anyways, aside of football, his week hasn't been so stressful or overwhelming.

After his skating time with Taehyung, sometime this week, he didn't hear anything back from Jimin - again - and decided to let him be this time. Jungkook already put the effort first, now Jimin has to meet him half way for this to work.

Despite the little tension that happened that skating day, Taehyung did end up sleeping over Jungkook's house while the ravenette did help him do some homework. Well, not school homework, but homework for his internship.
