Song Recommendation; Heaven - Julia Michaels

"No, no, no - YES! LET'S GO!"

"NO FUCKING WAY-"

"YESSSS! THEY HAVE RISEN - LET'S GO HINATA- YES!"

"DAMMIT!"

Jimin is a squealing mess, jumping around in front of the television while Jungkook plops back on the couch as he watches Aoba Johsai take that defeat against Karasuno High, feeling sour since he was fucking rooting for Oikawa!

He's such a great player, and a senior too!

Meaning he won't play again in this team!

Ugh!

"I told you Karasuno was going to win, Hinata came through!" Jimin sings enthusatically, making Jungkook's scowl deepen, feeling as though a dark cloud just formed above his head with raging lightening just ready to zap him, but that soon was blown away because Jimin ended up snuggling to his side on the couch with face buried to his shoulder.

Okay, so maybe Jungkook's paranoia earlier was definitely for no reason.

And he should've known better too.

Two hours ago, when he got here, Jimin ended up getting dressed in a cute, blue baby chick onesie while bestowing the amount of food on the kitchen island for the two to eat.

He made a large quantity of small dishes, enough to try everything and finish it in satisfaction.

And that's what happened.

True to Yoongi's words, Jimin is a good fucking cook.

They ate in silence but judging by Jimin's smile while Jungkook devoured his food was enough to show him that he was content by Jungkook's reaction alone, even if he didn't say anything.

Jimin did eventually bubble a conversation once they finished eating, asking how practice was and the rest of his day before and after that. Jungkook was pretty vague but was a gentleman enough to ask the questions back to Jimin.

He had a good day, rough around the intense practice, but overall a good day.

It got a bit awkward from there, since they didn't know what else to say, and Jungkook felt that this may be the turning point where Jimin would start to initiate something with him.

That never happened.

Instead, Jimin suggested for them to watch Haikyuu.

Jungkook never seen the anime before, heard a lot of hype about it though, so he agreed and helped Jimin clean up the dishes before moving to the living room.

Now this is when things took a bit of a turn.

In a good way.

From being tense and unease turned to igniting Jungkook's competitive drive and expressiveness as the anime progressed through. He got so into it that even around Jimin it felt as though they reached the same wavelength.

They would bet on matches, start screaming at the screen from time to time, or cheer when the team they were rooting for won.

It just didn't feel as though they were.... You know...

As if they were hiding themselves.

It felt natural.

A nice bonding moment, a connection starting to ignite type of thing.

As in, that level of comfort.

Somewhere in between was when Jungkook realized Jimin's competitive drive too, that's just as strong as his, so they would get into some heated discussions here and there because of their opinions on certain matches or characters. Two hours later of them going at this, whether it's the aggressiveness of the game or discussions, Jungkook for a moment forgot he was even going to Taehyung's house for the night.
