Early morings

Jess POV

Beep Beep Beep

Without even thinking my arm shot out to slam down on the off button on the alarm. My hearing in extremely sensitive in the morning and anything louder than a whisper really hurts my ears.

I tried stretching out, only to find something restricting me from moving. I looked behind me to, of course, find my boyfriend sleeping soundly behind me, his body outlining mine, and his arms holding me close.

I couldn't help the smile that crept onto my face. He looked so cute and peaceful when he slept.. It just made me want to mess with him.

I shimmied around in his grip until I was facing him. I started with gently poking his face. He only grumbled in his sleep. I sighed giving up, then I resulted to trying to pry his arms off from around me.

I almost had freedom in my grasp when I was suddenly pulled back down. Landing on my back, I was pulled against Leo again. I looked to my right to see him looking at me with very tired morning eyes.

"And where do you think you're going?" He asked. Oh my god. I like sleepy morning voice.

"It's uh" I looked at the alarm "7:15, and I need to get ready for hel.. I mean school." He laughed but buried his head into my hair.

"5 more minutes?" He asked hopefully. I smiled at the fact that he didn't want me to leave.

"As much as I don't want to leave, April will flip if I bail on her." and with that I rolled out of bed and landed on the floor, the cold floor sending shivers into my feet. I stood up and stretched, looking down I saw I was wearing the same clothes from last night. I also noticed that I was in Leo's room, rather than my own. I shrugged it off and left to get ready.

I walked out of leo's room and towards my own, only to find the lights on and the door opened slightly. I pushed the door open cautiously to see April pulling her hair back into a low ponytail.

"Hey, April" I greeted before heading to my closet.

"Oh hey Jess. Sleep good?" She asked. I nodded

"Yup. you stay over last night? I'm assuming why I woke up in Leo's room and fin you in here?" I shovelled through my closet to try and find clothes.

"Yeah, I was really tired and didn't feel like going home.. I hope thats okay"

"Yeah, it's fine, I didn't mind waking up where I did" I said smiling. April laughed and pulled on her headband.

"So you all ready for school?" I shook my head

"Nope. I don't think I"m ready now and will never be." I pulled out a white tank top with a wolf head on it, along with a pair of black ripped skinny jeans. A grey sweater caught my eye so I grabbed that too.

"Want me to make you coffee?" I headed to the small bathroom.

"Yes! Please!" I shouted over my shoulder. April laughed before going to the kitchen.

Once changed into my outfit, I brushed through my hair and covered my head with a blood red beanie and threw on the same colour vans. I threw on my moon and star neckless and leather bracelet before doing my make up. Keeping it simple with light brown eye shadow, black eyeliner, and mascara, I completed my look with some bright red lipstick.

Usually his outfit would not be my style, especially the makeup, but today I was feeling slightly braver today.

I grabbed the bag April had lended me from the floor beside my bed and headed to the kitchen. April and Leo were both in the kitchen, April all ready to go with 2 togo coffee cups in her hand and her bag at her feet, while Leo was all ready, minus his mask.

"Hey angel" Leo greeted, I came up to him and kissed his cheek before grabbing my coffee from April.

"Thank you" I said to April before drinking the delicious liquid. She just rolled her eyes in amusement before drinking her own and heading out to the living room.

"Hey angel, can I ask you a question?" Leo asked, I took the seat beside him.

"Shoot." I sipped my coffee.

"Why did you get blue?" He gestured to my hair. I smiled before jumping out of my seat and quickly running down the hall to Leo's room. opening the door, I saw his mask laying on the small table beside his bed. I grabbed it and ran back into the kitchen. He hadn't moved, but looked very confused.

I pulled the mask from behind my back and tied it around his head

"Good answer?" I asked leaning on his shoulders

"Great answer." He kissed my cheek then let me get up and head towards the door.

"Try not to have to much fun while i'm at school please?" I asked, knowing he was going to have more fun, being bored here alone, than I will at hel..school.

"It's going to be kinda hard with you not here." I just rolled my eyes.

"okay. I've gotta go" I quickly kissed him properly before running out beside April.

Once at the surface, April and I walked side by side, her on my left.

"So you two seem happy together" She commented. I shoved my hands in my pockets and sighed.

"Is it that obvious?" I asked in amusement.

"Um, duh! you two are all lovey dovey in the kitchen, It's so adorable! It makes me happy to see you make him happy" I looked at her weirdly.

"okay what?" I really didn't understand what she meant.

"Before the guys met you, they were just normal, you know. Funny and... I don't know.. just guys. And then they met you, and all of a sudden they were honestly happier all the time. Especially Leo."

"I.. I make everyone happier?.. wow.." I awkwardly just kicked the ground and kept walking

"If I had to say anything about your relationship with Leo, I'd say that you two compliment each other well, like you fit together perfectly." She smiled

"Oh my god you're such a sappy romantic April O'Neil!" I pushed her shoulder lightly, making both of us laugh.

"I try"

My sensitive wolf ears caught the faint sound of a school bell going off.

"Oh crap. We're late" I laughed and became jogging, April not far behind
