It's All Over Now

Jess POV

I looked Leo straight in his brilliant blue eyes right before the last thing that I thought would happen, happened.

The huge billboard came crashing down around me. Wood beams cracking under the weight, and metal poles bending with a loud screech. My ears were flat to my head and I was crouched low, trying to escape from the wreck around me. I whimpered as I looked up and saw a huge metal beam, the size of a telephone booth, coming straight down on me. I clamped eyes shut and braced for impact.

The beam landed on me with a huge bang, crushing my ribcage. I was pinned to the ground when I started to fade out of conscious, and into the next world. I let my eyes flutter closed, and the last thing I heard that day, was multiple cries of horror and pain, calling my name.

 

Mikey POV

“NO! Jess!!” I screamed along with my brothers. Tears were constantly streaming themselves down our faces.

“YOU MONSTER!!” Raph screamed

“SHE DIDN’T DO ANYTHING TO YOU!!” Donnie screamed right after

I stayed silent and cried into my knees.

She’s gone.. I.. I can’t believe she’s gone! and It’s all my fault!!

Sadness overwhelmed me as the thought of Jess never coming back settled in.

My friend, one of the only girls in this world I considered my sister, was gone. And she was never coming back.

Something inside me snapped right then. Jess died saving me, and I would do anything to avenge her.

I snaked my arm around to my belt where I kept a whole bunch of shrunken, I grabbed one and started cutting through my ropes.

The roof was silent as Karai and Chase laughed with evil smirks on their faces.

The only noise that could be heard was the pain filled cries of Leo, if I didn’t know better, I would say he was the one who got hurt.. instead of.. Jess.

 

Leo POV

The billboard landed directly on top of Jess with a loud crash, and almost instantly pain consumed me.

I screamed out in pain as I fell to the ground. I literally felt like I was on fire! Every inch of me was hurting, everything.

I couldn’t hear what was going on around me, I could only hear my screams of pain, and… whimpers? Yeah, thats what I was hearing. Whimpers. but not from me.. in my head?

A wave of emotion and earth shattering pain washed over me when I thought I saw the rubble of the billboard move, or someone moving it. I screamed again and kept screaming. this pain was here and wasn’t going anywhere.

I literally felt as if half of me had been ripped away from me. I felt like I was missing a very important part of me, like a part of my soul. Who I was was taken away from me in a matter of 5 minutes.

This is definitely the most pain I’ve ever been in, I felt defeated. So I just slumped over on the ground whimpering in pain.
