The trio never stopped walking for the next few minutes. Sprig was in the very front leading Ivy and Yunan through the dark tunnel, with a phone with its torch activated in hand.

They continued exploring until they stumbled into another stack of opened wooden crates, revealing it to be emptied out. Stepping a little further, Sprig was mildly startled by the skeletal remains of a newt that happened to be sitting behind the stack of crates.

"What's wrong?" Ivy noticed Sprig's face of shock.

"Nothing. It's just a...- dead body." He replied.

Sprig then glared at a noticeable piece of paper that was resting on the newt's hand. He picked it up, and recognized it to be a note.

"Great. Another piece of paper." Ivy scoffed.

"Hey, old notes are like puzzle pieces for me, okay?" Sprig chuckled and stored the note in his jacket pocket.

"Just... try not to lose it this time." Ivy commented.

After what Ivy felt like almost half an hour of just walking down the tunnel when it had only been five minutes, she had one of her legs turn sore.

"You okay, kid?" Yunan asked, noticing Ivy holding her knee.

Sprig turned to his girlfriend in attention.

"I'm okay. A little tired... that's all." Ivy said with obvious exasperation.

"We all are. But I'm not too certain if it's safe to stop in the middle of these tunnels." Yunan said.

"It's okay, Yunan. Just let her take a break." Sprig said, defending Ivy who smiled at him in appreciation.

"Besides, it's just an old tunnel. What's the worst that could happen?" He said.

Just after Sprig's statement, disembodied voices that sounded from multiple people were heard by the three. Startled, Sprig looked down one of the tunnels in curiosity and unexpectancy. The voices started to grow closer and closer to him as it felt.

"This place is deserted, right?" He asked Yunan.

"How the heck should I know, this is the first time I've been here!" She replied, which left Sprig regretting his question of the obvious.

The voices was unintelligible as it echoed throughout the tunnels, Sprig decided to approach and locate the origin of the voices. Even though Ivy was full of fear, she still wanted to be by his side to protect each other.

Lights that looked like fire began to be visible from the end of the tunnel. Sprig started to run at it, his speed increasing the more steps he took, before he realized who the mysterious voices belonged to.

"It's them! IT'S THEM!" One of the voices said.

More footsteps started to intensify and rapidly approached Sprig and his friends. The voices called out to the three aggressively, as if they were chasing them. And that's when Ivy and Yunan both figured out it was Renee's newt thugs.

"Oh, frog." Sprig said.

He gestured to Ivy and Yunan to follow him, but he quickly ran to a left tunnel. Ivy and Yunan only followed him without hesitations. The thugs who spotted the three immediately ran after them to the direction they were heading.

"Do you know where you're going?!" Yunan yelled.

"Nope! Not at all!" Sprig yelled back.

The three slowed down their run as their path was blocked by a giant newt thug, who was standing right in front of them ready to grab them. Sprig pulled out his slingshot and loaded in a pebble, continuing to shoot it at the newt's left eye.
