"Well... What about the Death Swamp? What is that?" Sprig asked.
"Wait... Death Swamp... That's what we called the Dry Swamp back then. It was a deadly place, before the extreme climate transformed it into something much, much worse." Olivia replied.
Sprig, Ivy, Olivia and Yunan were discussing their plans in the library room, but little did they know they were talking a little too loud. Without any one of the four knowing, on the other side of the door is one of the castle's caretakers secretly eavesdropping on their conversation.
The newt caretaker had put his ear against the wooden surface to listen through the door.
"Okay, here's the plan: We head to the Dry Swamp tomorrow morning to check out this... 'Eden'. Now, the good news is, Renee didn't steal the piece of paper this time, so that gives us a headstart on getting to the final piece. And I hope that this, is the final piece."
After hearing the words that were stated by the voice of Sprig, the newt's eyes immediately widened. He decided he heard enough, and quickly ran from the door, away from the library.
The caretaker then heads to a discreet area where he can contact Renee using a bee phone. He hid in a corner located on the side of the corridor. After dialing up the number, he waited roughly eight to ten seconds before a noise came from the phone.
"So... What'd you find out?" Renee's voice spoke up from the phone.
"They're heading to the Dry Swamp tomorrow, it might be where the treasure is but they're not too sure." The caretaker responded.
"Wait, did you just say the Dry Swamp?" Renee asked.
"Uhh, yeah?" He said.
"Well, whaddya' know? The location of that treasure is exactly where one of my most popular plays was written about. Remember one of my plays titled... What's the name again?" Renee said, trying to remember one of her famous plays called...
"Fear the Dry Swamp." The newt responded, annoyed by Renee's obvious attempt to boast about her play.
"There we go, Fear the Dry Swamp! Goodness, my time in prison really kicked that out of my system." Renee said.
The caretaker-in-disguise then peeked out of his corner to check his surroundings if there was anyone, but luckily for him, there were not.
"So will you leave for the Dry Swamp then?" He asked.
"Not until we get our hands on that kid. We need him and the girl, remember?" Renee said before the bee phone's connection went offline, the other newt only presumed that she was finished communicating.
"Right..." He muttered.
The newt then stored the bee phone before he heard chattering coming from the place he hid from, he was quick enough to change his expression and posture so as to not look suspicious. Turning around the corridor, he encountered the expected two figures that is Lady Olivia and Sprig.
"Oh! Morning, m'lady." The caretaker greeted them, pretending to be surprised by their appearance.
"Ah, just the man I wanted to see. Would you mind taking Mr. Plantar here to the medical wing? He has a major wound on his feet." Olivia asked with Sprig beside her.
"Certainly not, m'lady." The caretaker said, nodding his head and signaling Sprig to follow him.
"Follow me, young man." The newt then headed to the other end of the corridor, followed by the young frog.
-21 HOURS LATER-
In the next usual sunny morning at the city of Newtopia; Sprig, Ivy and General Yunan were on the castle's balcony, preparing themselves and Joe Sparrow for departure. They put their things on the seat on Joe's back before they depart.
