[Various x F! Reader]
Attempting to start a new life after reform school shouldn't involve the Tokyo Manji Gang.
Nor should it involve all the bullshit you were suddenly dragged through.

Settling In
↢ ❦ ↣
The following day after Takemichi - by some miracle - got Draken and Mikey to become friends again, you were waiting outside your apartment building.
You're leaning against the bike racks, legs stretched out as your arms are folded over your chest, actively scanning the area to keep a look out for your colleagues of the day.
Your one knee is rapidly bouncing up and down, fingers tapping the opposite arms, biting the inside of your cheek, and checking your watch every now and then. Yeah, they're ten minutes late, but they're probably busy people. Idiots like them probably get side tracked all the time, right? Surely they wouldn't flake, especially after they promised to be here.
Now you wouldn't take it personally, but let's just say all of them would lose more than just a strand of hair.
"Hey, [name]!"
You turn your head and see the five boys walking in your direction, each giving their own way of greeting you from afar. Rather it be a smile, wave, or even a simple nod.
You nod your head and walk in their direction, meeting them in front of the building's doors. You uncross your arms and tuck them into your front pockets, fiddling with the fabrics inside. "Hey."
"Why are you waiting outside?" Yamagishi asks.
"We're waiting for one more person, and I don't want them to walk up by themselves." You answer.
They look at you confused before glancing at each other, as if one of them knows who else will be joining today.
You pull out your wallet and grab some cash, making their eyes go wide and sparkle with stars. "I'll pay you guys more later, depending on your work." You clarify, using the money to emphasize your words. One by one you hand them each forty bucks, making them go as pale as a ghost. Each freeze in their place, stunned to see someone your age carry around this sort of cash on them.
"Didn't you just get out of reform school?!" Takemichi is the first to express his concern.
"What does that have to do with anything?!"
"Well where'd you get all this money?!" Akkun asks.
"It's not even that much!" You tuck away the wallet, feeling attacked by their questions. "Now stop acting like idiots. Especially you, Takemichi. Quit being a fool around her." You point at him directly, accompanied with a stern look.
He looks at you confused, "Her?"
You fold your arms and nod your head for them to turn around. When they do, it's safe to say they were all surprised, yet puzzled as to why it's Hinata of all people walking their way.
"Hinata?!" Takemichi registers your words. "What are you doing here?!" He looks completely flustered, as if embarrassed to be seen by her at this time.
Hinata smiles up at him after giving a wave to the rest of you. "Did [name] not tell you? I'm helping her with her room today!" She cheerfully informs him.
