I hoped I wouldn't had been alive at this evening, I felt extremely sadness. When my mother told she had to leave London, it felt like my word had collapsed. I couldn't imagine my life here without her, she has always been there for me when I needed support, raised me to who I am now, been supporting, loving parent. I understood her friend needed her, in Paris but I also needed my mother, in here. She said I would do good with on my own, I had grown up to be, smart, loving, fearless, beautiful young lady. And maybe I would find my happiness, maybe there was truly for me, waiting.

I also was very surprise when she said, I would be living in Lady Danbury's household. She was very respectful in London. She had promised to my mother to help me through the season. I did not know what to expect, maybe time will show it to me.

"Thank you, Lucy, taking care of the house while I'm gone." Mama said and smiled last time before turning to face me. "Shall we?" She said and we walked to ours carriage. Servants caring our things.

I stared out of the window, saying good byes to our home. Home. I knew I would come back but when, after two months? Six months? Year?

"How long are you away?" I needed to know the answer before she leaves.

"Well, I am not sure at all how long, if I'm being realistic maybe seven months? I do not know, honestly. But I am sure you will survive without me." She said and took my hand, squeezed it little, for support.

"I will miss you so much, who am I going to share latest gossip? And who with, I will eat my breakfast? I am sure Lady Danbury won't look through her fingers, if I am eating breakfast in my night dress."

"Yes, she probably won't like that.. But you have friends who you can tell those things, Eloise, Penelope." I did not have quit many friends really. I was more like a alone person type.

"What can I even do in Lady Danbury's house? Paint? Play piano forte? No, thank you."

"Maybe you could try playing piano forte? It can make time going fast, if you just try it." She tried to be supportive and give me something to do when she is gone.

"I can't even go horse riding, where's fun with that?" Horse riding was part of me, I always went riding, if word around me made me fo crazy. I was about to say something when she spotted Lady Danbury's house. It was closer to towns centre than ours.

"There it is, we are almost there." She said, trying ro get me distracted from our conversation.

Lady Danbury was already waiting us in the front yard. "Lady Anderton and Miss Anderton, how pleasing it is to see you two." She was kind woman to those who treated others like you should. She had been friends with mama when they were around fifteen. But mama had to left to France, to go homeschool. Because her parents couldn't affiliation London's homeschool. She stayed in her grandparents house where back then her few cousins lived too. She has told me it was wonderful time there, but she also missed dearly her friends who lived in London.

"Indeed, Lady Danbury. And thank you thousand times that you were willing to take Cordelia live with you." Mama said with very happy and grateful smile on her face. I knew part of her, was happy that she can go back to France. She missed it so much, meet her cousin and her siblings, I would also wanted to see my aunts and uncles, last time I saw them when I was thirteen. Mama grow up in France with her family, but because her other siblings were older than her and had moved away, their parents thought it could be good to raise mama in London.

"Anything to you, it is no trouble." My things had brought already in Lady Danbury's house while they spoke. I in other hand had listened their very long conversation, it was deadly boring.
