Chapter 8- Jason meet the Avengers

Percy's P.O.V

I woke up in the morning to a blaring alarm clock. Grumbling I shut it off and slowly got out of bed. Looking at the time I see I have an hour and 15 minutes to shower, get ready, and eat breakfast.

Grabbing my towel and clothes I went into the bathroom and started to take a shower that lasted 30 minutes mostly to help wake me up.

After putting on my clothes and brushing my teeth I went up stairs with around 35 minutes to eat and make my way to school.

Making some pancakes I went to the counter and started to eat. Surprisingly Steve came up and started to make himself some food. "Why are you up?" I asked the man.

"Once a soldier always a soldier." He supplied. I could see that so I nodded in understanding.

Looking at the clock I still had 25 minutes. Might as well arrive early then. After making my lunch I left the tower and started walking to school. I left my bike at my 'house' so I decided to go and get it.

Walking down the some roads I ended up at my house and started to unlock the door as silently as I could knowing Gabe and hoping that he wouldn't wake up.

Tip toeing to my room I went inside and got my bike. Then slowly lifted it up so it wouldn't hit any of the beer cans on the floor I made my way out.

When I got outside I let loose a breath I didn't know I was holding. My bike was special made just for speed. My Aunt and Mom made it for me when they both were still alive.

It was a early made birthday gift for my 10th birthday that I never got more like found from Sally's will she left. It still fit me for I worked on the seat and raised it if it needed to be.

It had different mods almost like those racing games when you have that lever and shifted a gear to make you go faster. I have buttons that can help change the speed I'm going at. (I'm thinking of Alex Rider books right now. Alex Rider had a bike like that)

Biking down the street not stilling on my seat more like standing on the petals I make it in no time.

Locking my bike into place I went to one of the trees and sat underneath it and started to read.

After a little I look up and see Jason coming over. I grinned, "Hey dude what's up?"

"My father's domain." He replied smiling.

I grinned, "No it's a drama queen." Slowly I did a 3..2..1 then lighting cracked. And we both bursted out laughing.

"Anyway Perce what's new?"

"Well after I dropped you home I got kidnapped and forced to stay with the Avengers but on a brighter side I met my real father and bonded with him."

Jason's eyes widen and both gaped in shock, I took my hand and closed his mouth only for it to open again. (I forgot that he already knew but oh well let's say he just forgot...)

I tried to snap in front of his eyes, which worked and he shook his head in disbelief, "Interesting days you had then."

I smirked and we got up from under the tree as the teachers and principal unlocked the front doors. We both went inside and said goodbye and started to head to our lockers then our class.

The day went by slowly but I still spent it with Jason as much as I could with our different schedules. I spoke to the principle about my free periods and lunch and other things and decided he let me have some of the things with Jason.

Jason and I got to spend Lunch, Free Period, Gym (9th and 11th graders work together, don't know why), and Swimming together.

I know he is a son of Zeus but my father (Poseidon) said that anyone could swim he didn't blame the kids who they were related to. Only I told him to not allow Hercules that guy is a dick and father agreed.
