Chapter 18- The Hulk Species

Percy's P.O.V

The way back to the helicarrier was quiet. I was in the back of the plane and was trying to stay awake. Bruce looked at me and told me to sleep. I listened.

I was awoken by Steve and Bruce. I got up and rubbed the sleep from my eyes and hugged Steve. Walking out of the plane I was met with a Mr.Eyepatch and the other Avengers surrounding a table.

I yawned and waved a bit. Asking Fury silently if I was needed or if it was just Avengers business. He nodded toward a seat and I sat silently. So this does have something that includes me.

"We have reason to believe that Doctor Doom is back. We need all of your help to get him back to prison." He said that looking at me.

I looked back and nodded a tiny bit. I was going to help them with Doom.

"Question?" I started, "Where is Pietro and Wanda?"

"They will met you at the tower shortly. Go back and get some more sleep. But Percy stay." Everyone else looked to me and I nodded a tiny bit. Then they started to leave the room.

"What's up?" I asked Fury

"Why did you follow Bruce to Fiji?" Fury asked

"He's scared of himself. I know how that is and I also knew that I could help him. The Hulk isn't a monster but a separate way of life that Bruce just ended up with. (I've been watching too much Doctor Who...)

"What is the Hulk?"

"It is a species that is literally made up of Gamma Radiation but not strong enough to kill. It is attracted to other gamma Radiation. I guess that one got stuck in the machine so when Bruce was injected it also went into him. Creating a alter living place in his head where it is dormant until it feels like it's in danger."

Fury looked like he was deep in thought, "So it's an alien?" He asked

"On the contrary, it's also human, human DNA that just got mixed with some Radiation creating it. The multiplied but they do live on earth. There aren't as many as you may think. To come across another GR monster would be very rare. The one in Bruce is actually really smart but it's in a new environment trying to learn all by itself. That's where I come in and help it." I say

Seriously been watching too much Doctor Who just started watching 11th doctor...

"GR? Anyway, how much does it know?"

"GR, Gamma Radiation, just a shorter name for him, anyway the monster knows a lot more. When I was with Bruce I created an area contained with walls that are very strong, out of this world strong but that's not the point, when I had Bruce turn into the Hulk instead of destroying, there was no threat so he was calm. I helped him learn." I said

Fury nodded and made a hand movement to dismiss me. I nodded and left him to think about what I said. I know a lot about non human aliens and all that. I also know some of their communication too.

When I exited the door I turned some corners and made my way to the plane. I smiled at the Avengers and went onto the plane, "Let's go home." I said

They smiled a bit and Clint started the plane. We started to head to the tower.

"What did you talk about with the Director?" Steve asked

I smiled, "He was just wondering why I went with Bruce is all." I said

Steve nodded and Bruce wondered if I wanted to play chess with him. I smiled and nodded.

After a few hours on the plane we landed on the tower. It was all cleaned up and looking amazing once more. I got my back and started to head to my room.

But I couldn't help but feel like something is coming, something big, and dangerous. I shook my head trying to clear my mind.
