Toby was worried. There was so much fucked up stuff he was just told...he didn't want to believe any of it, but he had a gut feeling it was unfortunately true,

"What the hell does he mean by training?" Tommy wondered aloud.

"Who knows, but it can't be pleasant considering it's Schlatt..." he murmured, pacing. Being his kid wasn't going to win him any favors either, he'd seen what Schlatt had done to George, indirectly but it was still him. And when he'd 'attacked' Quackity the other night, it didn't seem completely like an act. Quackity looked like he'd been in pain.

"Toby-" Tommy sounded serious, which made him turn.

"I meant what I said earlier." The taller boy said, dead serious, "you are my brother, and Wilbur's and Technoblade's. You're Phil and Kristins son.. you're our family. Not his, alright? Don't you fucking forget that"

Toby smiled weakly, "thank you Tommy...I mean it..."

A small part of him still couldn't stop thinking about it though. He was Schlatt's biological son...Schlatt had abandoned him because Toby was...destined to be his downfall? This all felt so unreal, yet here he was. Here Tommy was. And even though he would prefer Tommy was out of harms way, away from here, he was glad for the familiar company...

They were there for what felt like hours, before Quackity entered quietly, looking behind him before closing the door. Once the door was closed, he turned and grinned at them.

"Alright, George and his friends made it to your house, Fundy is on the way with his. They'll probably be here soon...George said they're planning an attack, also Techno might have already gone ahead, so he might be here soon-" he smiled, his slightly mismatched eyes flashing with mischief, "It's go time boys-"

He beckoned over to them, and they moved closer to him. "We'll need to sneak out, I know a good exit Schlatt doesn't really know about...it'll be easier once the warehouses are under attack. That way we can take down Schlatt's operations and get you out. Two birds one stone..."

"His operations?" Tommy raised an eyebrow, "All of them?"

Quackity nodded, determined. "Yeah...me, George, and Fundy have come to an agreement. We're done being complicit with his shit. Especially when it endangers the people we care about..come on-"

He gestured for them to follow, opening the door and starting out. Toby and Tommy glanced at each other, before they quickly followed.

"We gotta lay low and stick to the less travelled hallways..." Quackity said, going ahead of them to be lookout, "Schlatt's lackeys are always milling around down here...it basically a hub for criminals..."

"How many 'lackeys' are usually down here at a time?" Tommy asked

"Dozens..." Quackity answered, "some of them aren't too bad, they're just too scared of Schlatt to go against him.Just small-time crooks really...others though? They're some nasty folks that owe Schlatt favors...it's better to stay away from all of them..."

Toby looked around, nodding along with Tommy. The hallway they were walking down seemed deserted. That was good..

"Toby, your powers might come in handy in case someone does see us...but it would be a temporary solution, keep that in mind-"

"Right-"

They continued a little further, until a distant BOOM sounded, probably from a couple warehouses down.

"That must be Technoblade-" he grinned at the two, "Your brother is a badass by the way"

"We know," Tommy and Toby said proudly in unison as they continued.

Toby nodded, but a small part of him worried for his brother. Techno had over used his powers not too long ago. He was good, but if Quackity was right there were a lot more enemies than he was used to fighting at once. He hoped his brother would be ok.

"This way-" Quackity beckoned.

They waited around a corner as some lackeys ran in the direction the noise had come from, and once they were out of sight he and the other two ran across the area. They continued to the opposite side of the warehouse that the cells were. Suddenly. They heard a yell as they ducked behind a wall. Tommy was the last one, and he'd apparently been spotted. Where did those guys come from?

"Ah shit-" Quackity cursed, running, "follow me!" They did, and as soon as they gained some distance, he ducked into a doorway.

"Alright, I have a plan. I'll lead them away so you guys can get to the exit, alright? Just go out this doorway, take two left, then go straight until you reach it, ok?"

"Wait, how are you going to distract them? They're not looking for you.." Tommy asked.

Quackity grinned devilishly, "Well, like Schlatt said, all of his 'kids' have powers."

He reached out and tapped Tommy's nose with a "boop- '' then, he closed his eyes, and as they watched, he transformed. He grew taller, his skin paled a bit, his hair shortened and became blonde, even his clothes shifted. When he opened his eyes, they were blue, just like Tommy's but like Quackity's usual eyes, one was slightly lighter than the other. Barely noticeable unless you knew him, or were looking really hard.

Toby and Tommy stared open mouthed at him, and he laughed. That's when Toby remembered the burn on his arm, it had looked like it could be bigger than what they saw... "It was you at the registry wasn't it? As Schlatt? Techno burned you in a fight-"

Quackity-Tommy winced, nodding, "Yup, bastard didn't want to get his own hands dirty, or burnt to a crisp..."

He still sounded like himself, which was a little off putting.

"This is so fucking weird..." Tommy muttered, staring at himself, or rather Quackity.

"That it is...see you guys in a bit ok?" Quackity nodded, winking at them before bolting out, yelling. His voice now sounded like Tommy's. "Come and get me you bastards!"

Tommy and Toby ducked down for several minutes as they heard footsteps running after Quackity, glancing at each other with wide eyed expressions. This definitely explained why they never found their friend during hide and seek when they were younger...he'd always pop out of the most obvious places after they gave up too...he'd hidden his powers, like Toby. He felt bad for his friend, and Fundy and George...losing their parents, then being raised by someone like Schlatt? He guessed being abandoned was probably the best thing that ever happened to him.

"Alright, the coast is clear-" Tommy said quietly, which was new for him, peeking out from the doorway.

They quickly made their way out, taking two lefts before going straight. They could do this...they could do this...

The exit was so close. His heart pounded. They could do it-

Suddenly a tall figure stepped out, blocking the exit. Shit- they skidded to a stop a few feet from the ram horned man between them and the exit.

Schlatt grinned wickedly, anger and annoyance glittering in his yellow eyes that met theirs

"You didn't think it would be that easy, did you?"
