As the wind blew by, rustling the leaves of the tree branches, the morning sun peeked through the cracks of the closed curtains and into your dorm room. Many voices echoed through the empty room as the sound of boxes being stacked onto one another was heard in the background. "Alright, we're almost done," you said whilst you placed the heavy box down onto the ground along with the help of Ayaka. "Yup! Just a few more things to bring in," she states, wiping the sweat from her forehead. "I can't wait to relax," you commented, stretching your arms as you prepare to go out and get another box.
"Alright, I know!— Mom, I can handle this myself!" Scaramouche groaned, coming through from the front door with a large suitcase. Following behind, was his mother who carried a carton of food. "Is that so? Don't force yourself to carry large things... you're still small." Her words though meant to be caring irritated Scaramouche, "No!— I'm not small. I'm not a kid anymore." He immediately retorted, glaring at his mother.
It's been a day since you met the young boy, and after the meeting, you were able to complete the paperwork and move into your new dorm. Though it took some time, it seems that all your effort wasn't in vain, but after spending hours carrying boxes in the early morning, you were completely exhausted. Fortunately, you didn't start your classes until a few days later so you were hoping to rest before then, however, the lack of furniture in your dorm made it difficult to rest...
Walking through the apartment, you stop by at the end of the hallway where the elevator was to glance out the window. You were four stories up and you could see the school from here. The sun was still starting to rise and you yawned tiredly before entering the elevator. The apartment you were likely going to be staying in for the rest of the year was rather small compared to the other buildings, but you didn't mind since it was only a five-minute walk away from your classes.
Originally, you wanted to request your own individual dorm, however, there wasn't enough room so you were forced to share a dorm with another student. You didn't mind really... after all, you were informed that if another room ever opens up, it'd automatically be given to you— so until then, you didn't mind sharing a dorm with another student. You just had to be patient.

"There you go!" You move the final box into your new dorm, "I'm so tired," you sigh as you look over to Scaramouche who was the only one in the room and was sitting on the wooden floor. "...this place is so small," he whispered under his breath— to which you heard. "It's not that bad," you responded, chuckling a bit.
You walk up to the young boy and crouch down in front of him. He seemed confused and looked at you with a puzzled expression, "I'm surprised you haven't noticed yet," you laughed, leaning closely. His body tensed as he felt your hair brush against his ear, "what are you doing?!" He asked, quickly moving away from you frantically.
"Look," you held up a hairpin. "Huh?" Scaramouche uttered.
"This has been in your hair since yesterday, I forgot to take it out." You smiled innocently while Scaramouche's seemed rather distraught. "What?!" He exclaimed, flustered. Had you hid it behind his ear?— he wondered.
"It matched you," you stated, but Scaramouche was nowhere near convinced as he glared intensely at you. "You put that thing in my hair?!" He yelled angrily. You shook your head rapidly, "I thought it looked nice— it's also not a thing, it's a family heirloom!"
