Maddie lays awake. It's a little after 3 AM, there's about an hour still until they leave to catch the sunrise at Stonehenge. But the excitement to go had slumped after the nightmare she had. Why was it so disturbing? Her body even had a physical reaction - crying, a manifestation of exceeding distress. It did feel extremely real, so she guessed the visceral response made sense. All she wants now is just to curl up in bed and forget. However, plans are plans, she'll just have to shake the uneasiness off and try to enjoy the experience. I'll be fine, she gets up, might forget all about it once I get there.

Following a quick rummage through the little complementary basket, Maddie decides on a peppermint tea. The electric kettle rumbles softly as it heats up some water, serving as background noise while Maddie picks out a Twoset video to watch. She hopes that by seeing them being well, she can drown out the terrible picture her mind had conjured in her sleep. And as predictable as ever, the one she ended up choosing is a good old comfort video; the boys roasting fake violin playing. Their humor is always able to lift her mood without fail.

Shortly after she finishes the video, the warm cup of tea, and her leftover meal from last night, Maddie prances to the bathroom - there's still time for a calming shower

Shortly after she finishes the video, the warm cup of tea, and her leftover meal from last night, Maddie prances to the bathroom - there's still time for a calming shower. She scrolls through her music library and lands on Eddy's LoFi Magnum Opus. Hopefully, the addition of a nice hot shower with the company of the soothing LoFi can help to further relax and make her feel even better.

And speaking of feeling better, Maddie just realized that her cold has already gone.

Maybe the nightmare was my body fighting the cold, she murmured while turning the water on, gauging the temperature of the cascading liquid with her hand, glad it won.

The bus pulls away from the place the students are staying at, finally carrying them to Stonehenge. Pitch black darkness still rules the sky above as the vehicle rolls down the deserted road - sounds a little scary if you don't know they're trying to catch a sunrise.

Maddie scrolls away on her social media and just realized something; Twoset hasn't posted anything on any of their platforms. In fact, this absence of content has been going on for days. Usually they would post every other day, even if it's just a TikTok or an instagram story. Wow, she murmured, that paper really took my awareness out. But now she's done with the damned assignment and had enough rest to grasp the happenings in the world around her once more. She won't miss any update when it comes, she'll make sure of it.

More often than not, in the absence of information, people will tend to wonder about possibilities of what may be going on with the people they miss. Even though it usually never answers the question, and might even lead to overthinking and general frustration. Maddie is starting to find herself going down that path, swimming through a slew of maybes. The spectrum ranges from a positive "maybe they're filming something special", or "maybe they're doing a collab", to the less optimistic, "maybe something personal came up". Although who can ever say if Twoset themselves don't let the fans in on the news.
