After Maria told him everything; the made up drama and the lies and the affair, William can only laugh in silence. He cannot believe what he is hearing, why would Bree need to do that? Their marriage is great, they have five kids together, and they love each other.
Or so he thought.
He is sitting by himself in the large living room. All of this, for what? He is working so hard, trying to give the world for her and his family.
William stands up, he needs to find her and take her back home. He needs an explanation.
The sky has lost its light when he finds them, on each other's embrace, hands on waist, head on shoulder.
Emotion floods his heart, "What are you doing with my wife?!" The rage in his voice is truly heartbreaking.
William takes her hand away from the unknown man, standing in between Bree and Christ. His grip tightens, body stiffen, and his face is stone cold trying to hide his emotion.
His world is falling apart. He knows what she did behind his back.
"Why?" he looks at the woman that he loves the most. His eyes are filled with hot tears of pain. Every breath he takes in hurts his lungs. Her betrayal is too much to handle.
"She is mine now."
"No, she is not, and she will never be yours. She is my wife for fucks sake!"
Bree timidly let go of her husband's grip. "Just... let me go."
A heartless request. William looks at his wife, doesn't know here did he go wrong. It is her; it has always been her. He never, in this lifetime look at another woman. But everything becomes nothing once she met this random guy named Christ.
Will shakes his head, this is so unfair. "Bree, I beg you, please don't do this to me." If there is only a tiny bit of hope, he will exchange everything that he owns to be chosen by her again.
But the woman in front of him has changed. She is no longer his. Sh-she.. cheated with someone else.

William is siting at the bar, cold whiskey on hand. His face is red, he had been drinking for the past few hours.
"What do you like about her?" he asks the man next to him without even moving his gaze from the glass on his hand.
"...." Christ was invited by the duke to meet him in this isolated bar. Never did he imagined that the dignified duke will be this broken.
Guilt starts to fill his heart.
"Christian tell me, what do you like about her?" the duke's voice is rising, this time he is starring right at him.
Christ bits his lower lip, feeling sorry for the duke but unable to say a word.
"Any woman that you want, I can make sure that you will get them. I-" his voice breaks, it trully hurts him. "I-I can get you anyone, just say their name."
"If you can do that, why not find someone for yourself?" Christ never doubted the duke, he is a powerful man. But he just don't understand why he is so fixated with Bree.
"I can never love again." Will looks at him sincerely, every pain can be seen from his teary eyes, he touches the guy on his shoulder. "I love her, Christ. I really do."
Christian cannot bear to see the sorry state of the person in front of him. He doesn't know what should he do.
"I'm sorry I can't. I want her too."
"What about me then? What about my family? Christ, you can find another woman. But I can't."
Christian knows there's a degree of truth in the duke's sentence. He has only known the duchess for a month.
And by the look of it, Bree is the duke's whole world.
But the selfishness in him doesn't want to let Bree go. He wants her too.
"Duke, I apologize." He can only say an apology, but he is not going to back off now.
