Morning

I woke up with Malcolm's arm around my waist. My eyes widened as I bolted up, taken aback by the moment. I got to my feet and just watched as he shifted around gaining consciousness. He looked up to see my shocked face. We could both sense that awkward vibe in the air.

" Morning." I said fast with a high pitched voice.

" Morning." he said forging a small smile. I managed one too. We both remembered last night, and I was surprised he stayed. The whole night. I didn't like this. This weirdness between us. I couldn't take it at the moment. I acted as if I didn't remember.

" Ok let's go, we're going to be late for school." I said pulling out some clothes and threw them on the bed. He looked at me like " Are you crazy? Did you not realize what just happened?" But I did. I was just avoiding it.

" Well chop chop!" I exclaimed snapping my fingers. I grabbed my clothes in a bunch then ran into the bathroom slamming the door behind me. I slid down the bathroom door and buried my head into my knees. What am I doing? I have to guys that like me! As soon as I began to cry a little, I heard a knock on my door.

" What?!" I screamed unconsciously.

" Are you ok?" Malcolm asked from the other side of the door.

" I'm fine." I said much calmer this time. I wiped my face of with the back of my hand then ran the shower water.

　

" Your quiet." Malcolm said as we walked to school. I didn't look at him I just kept walking.

" Enjoy it." I said which probably confused him even more. He grabbed my shoulders then turned me to face him.

" We have to talk...about stuff." he said.

" Stuff? I think you know what stuff." I said vigorously. " You kissed me, and you know I'm with Jacob."

" You went on two dates." he said, his voice growing louder. " He's known you for a few weeks! I've known you my whole life!"

" It doesn't matter!"

" Yes it does." he said getting closer. I could smell his scent. He looked down at me. The wind blew his short bangs back and fourth. We were so close. I could hardly breath normally.

" I've liked you longer than I thought I did." he began and when his hands trailed down my arms, I felt my skin shiver. " I always thought you knew, but I guess I wasn't showing it good enough."

" Guess not." I said in an annoyed way although I wasn't annoyed. He took a breath before he continued.

" When Jacob came along, I knew I lost my chance, but I just had to tell you." he said. I felt for him there. At least he had the decency to tell me.

" I just don't know." I said. " What about Jacob and-"

" Ugh!" he shouted. " Your such a pain."

" Excuse me-" I began then he tilted his head quickly and kissed me. He held the back of my neck. I couldn't move. I could barely think! All I thought was " Oh Crackers...God....Me and Malcolm? What would this be like? He kissed me deeper. " But it feels so good. I love it. I love him! No...Stop." He pulled away and my eyes were still closed enjoying every moment, even if I didn't want to. I was breathing heavily. I wanted to say something, but no words escaped my mouth. My throat was dry and my skin was cold. Nerves? Suddenly I heard a car zoom up.

" Hey Alex, Malcolm, want a ride?" I knew that voice. It was Jacob. I didn't turn to see him, I just focused on Malcolm who was still staring at me.

" No thanks, I'll walk."
