The leave

I woke up before everyone else. I began packing so that I would be ready to go. Only I was still in my pajama's. It was only 7 a.m. but Jacob told me we were leaving kind of early. After I finished I got bored. I hate being bored. I sat on the edge of my bed for about ten minutes then left the room. I knocked on the boys door to see if any of them were up. Then the door opened slowly.
" Hey Alex." Ray said in a faint tone. He rubbed his eyes before looking at me.
" I'm guessing you guys aren't up yet." I said.
" Well yeah, me and Roc just got up." he said opening the door wider. " You can come in, it's not like we're getting dressed or anything."
" Okay." I said then walked in behind Ray. He shuffled his feet to the bathroom then closed the door. I saw Roc turn on the television to see what was on.
" Hi." I said sitting down on the couch.
" Hey, your up early." he said with a smile.
" Yeah I know, I'm a light sleeper." I told him and he laughed.
" That's funny cause Prince is just the opposite, see." I looked over to see Jacob's head buried in his pillow. I chuckled then got up.
" I love waking people up." I told Roc before I began shaking Jacob. He groaned then turned over. His hair was a mess. Haha.
" Jacob." I said low at first then I rose my voice. " Jacob! Wake up!"
" Mhmm." he muffled and I sighed loudly. Then I laid on him which made him squirm. Roc was cracking up in the corner watching.
" Who is this on me?" Jacob asked. I looked down at him and he playfully rolled his eyes. " Oh god not you!"
" Yes me now wake up." I said. He grabbed my waist then threw me off of him which made me screech a little. I toppled onto the bed while he got up.
" You are so crazy." he said then kissed my cheek. I laughed then of course blushed. I mean of course! Anyway, he walked over to the bathroom and knocked on the door. " Ray hurry up!" he yelled and Ray yelled something back but I didn't hear what he said. I laughed.
" What are you laughing at?" Jacob asked me. I just stared at his head.
" Oh nothing." I lied still smirking a little.
" What my hair?" he asked and for some reason I just burst out laughing.
" I know I have to straighten it out." he said while I kept laughing. He shuffled his feet over and collapsed on me.
" Get off me!" I exclaimed still filled with laughter. He finally got up and I fixed my clothes. " There's something wrong with you."
" I know." he said then went back to banging on the bathroom door. " Come on Ray!"
" I'm done, I'm done." he said coming out braiding his hair. Jacob pushed past him then closed the door.
" We're gonna take you back home in an hour." Roc told me and I nodded.
About half an hour later all the boys were ready.
" Okay let's go." I said.
" Uh Alex."
" What?"
" your still in your pajama's."

I finally changed out of my pajama's and we were on our way back to my house. During the two hour drive, I just looked out the window while listening to my play list. Jacob sat next to me.
" You okay?" he asked and I nodded. I took my earphones out and turned to see him.
" Yeah, why wouldn't I be." I asked. He looked down and grabbed my hands.
" When I drop you off, I won't be getting out the car with you." he said. I just stared at him. Honestly I didn't know what the heck he was talking about.
" Okay." I said calmly and he hunched his eyebrows.
" Your not upset?" he asked.
" I don't know what you mean really." I admitted.
" I mean I won't be coming back in a few weeks." he said not smiling. That's when I began to get a little upset. I really like Jacob and I'm definitely going to miss seeing him everyday.
" Oh, okay." I said. I'm not good with situations like this. That's why guys don't date me.
" Are you okay with that?" he asked.
" Well yeah, I'm gonna see you again, it's not like your dumping me." I said with a little hope.
" Of course not I..." he began then cut himself off. " I love spending time with you. I'd never break up with you."
I smiled then kissed his lips to show that I really cared. He smiled then left me alone for the rest of the trip.

I got out the car then grabbed my bag out the trunk. Jacob took it from me then carried it up the stairs. He set it down then we faced each other at the door.
" I had a great time." I told him and he smiled bigger than he already was. He grabbed my hands then rocked them a little.
" I'm going to miss you." he said. " Promise me you'll think about me everyday."
" I promise, only if you think about me."
" Of course I will." he said and I blushed. He leaned in and kissed me a little longer than five minutes. It was nice and different from the way Malcolm kissed me. Jacob's kisses were softer and more relaxed. When I kissed Malcolm, it seemed like more of an urge. I pulled away cutting the moment short. I leaned in and hugged him then opened my door and walked in. Jeez I was going to miss him, but while he's gone, I'm going to have to figure out what's going on between me and Malcolm. I watched his car pull off and I sighed. I turned around to see Malcolm.
" How the heck do you get into my house?" I asked him excited and surprised to see him.
" Well this time your parents let me in." he said. I couldn't be mad at him at the moment. Of course I had mixed feeling about everything, but for now I am just excited to see my best friend. I smiled then ran to him and hugged him tight.
" I did miss you." I told him.
" I missed you too." he said into my hair. It's only been a weekend but that's how close we are.
I just really missed my best friend
