Chapter 23: Hero Titling Event, Part II

It is the first day of the Hero titling event. It is an event many, mostly Hero aspirants have been anticipating for. This 3rd Century Hero titling event will be hosted by the Holy Realm of Hidiea. Last time, the nation that hosted the event was the Western United Kingdoms, which celebrated the new Heroes of the 2nd Century.

The event is considered a Holiday within the Central Region including the United Kingdoms in the West and it will span for seven days. The last of the seven days being the actual titling. It varies a little in some of the four nations, but the sequence of events is usually the same.

The year is 1134, in the Water Month, just three more months until the next year arrives. 288 years ago, was the first generation of the 13 heroes, during the Dark Father's rampage. A hundred years later, year 946, was when the second generation was readied.

There is no particular reason why the Heroes was established with one hundred years in interval, the nations of today simply followed them due to tradition and religion, because it is believed that the Gods' grace is said to be more powerful when the world waited for 100 years. But now, the Central Region, cannot wait twenty more years as conspiracies of the Dark Father's movements are underway.

The four nations that formed the current distributions of Heroes are the Western United Kingdoms, Lorriean Republic, Holy Realm of Hidiea, and Ælhelmia. Mindful about international tensions, the four have concluded to let go of Ælhelmia's hold on potential Heroes and have the newly founded Tumidon take care of three aspirants.

The unofficial alliance feared Armandi XVII will use Gendarmes to his selfish desires.

The Central region nations have agreed and signed treaties to split the Heroes amongst them, since the second generation. Having split the Heroes, meant that peace would be theoretically much more common in places where it is regulated, and guarded by the Heroes assigned to those countries.

In addition, this is also to prevent one single country hoarding all the powerful individuals capable of destroying literal nations to themselves. If problems arise, they may use all of the thirteen Heroes for senseless eradication of same-race conflicts.

Today is as early as Eight in the morning. Singing birds and alarming roosters took up most of the noise in the busy alleys and streets of the Holy Realm. Everyone was ready. Later at ten, the first of many parties shall start and the Holy king will announce the start of the Holiday in a ceremony.

These past few weeks, even months, the people of Hidiea have become so busy. Main reason apart from the many works needed to be done in order to successfully celebrate the 3rd Century Heroes, is that numerous Envoys, Ambassadors and Prime Ministers from not just the Central region, but also some from the Seeh-an Autocracy and even from the Eastern countries will arrive, both to Congratulate the Heroes and to give gifts to the Holy Realm, being the nation to host this generation.

Usually, Envoys, Ambassadors and Prime Ministers are not given a specific time or date, it is up to the country if they will send their second most powerful, politically, or not, but this time, it is different. The Holy king, Reggie Benett Warren IV have personally sent a letter of invitation to countries wanting to participate in the event this evening. The Holy king wanted an urgent talk about the major news that the Holy Realm and many others have received. Mainly, the invasion of the Sarr Kingdom was apparently due to the Dark Father's actions.

After the news reached the nation, Reggie was so concerned, he was zealous of hearing the opinion and thoughts of neighboring countries on the matter. And to hopefully plan for the future, an alliance of the people of Farona perhaps.

The date, time and the meeting of ambassadors was today at seven till eleven this evening.

The sunny morning's light kissed Reggie's face as he overlooked one of many narrow windows of his castle in Ourland, the capital of Hidiea. His mind filled with anxious thoughts as his personal maids dress him with appropriate clothing for him to wear as he announces the event later at the ceremony.
